2009년 교회대항 배구시합참가 사진입니다.
by 박준호 The annual church volleyball tournament hosted by KBC of San Jose took place on August 1st at the Campbell Community Center. This year, NCBC played in the 40+ yr adult team pool with a lot more players than last year. Although we lost the first few games, we ended up winning the last game which we played in the "loser's" pool. We could have advanced furthur up in that pool due to the win, but we decided to be humble and give other teams a chance to win :) We were content with our single win!There was so much support this year for our hard-working volleyball players. As the players worked hard during practice, the ja-meh-neem-dul worked hard cooking and preparing delicious dishes for everyone. We had a wonderful lunch with sweet watermelons, as well as desserts like dduk, steamed corn, hard-boiled eggs...etc. There was more than enough for everyone there, and the kim-chee-jjee-gae and the baked mackeral were a huge hit!!Thank you everyone for coming out to support the team and taking the time gather in fellowship. Special thanks to the jah-meh-neem-dul for staying all the way until the end to cheer loudly for NCBC! I'm sure the players, hyung-jae-neem-dul, were very happy to have their cheerleaders! All in all, we were so blessed by God to have this opportunity to spend time with each other. We hope to see more of you coming out next year!
