Hello Saenuri Family!  This is the update for 7/29/18.   For Shibuya church's Sunday worship, our team sang 'Broken Vessels' for the morning and afternoon worship. 시부야 교회에 일요일 예배를위해서 우리팀이 'Broken Vessels'이라는 노래를 아침와 오후 예배떼 불었습니다.       After Sunday worship, our team ate dinner together and practiced our skits and body worship for the VBS week. 예배후, 저녁 까지 연극와 춤을 열심히 연습했습니다.        Prayer Requests: 1. Triumphal Procession Our team’s first request in prayer is based on 2 Corinthians 2:14. 저희의 첫번째 기도제목은 고린도후서 2장 14절에 의한 것입니다.   “But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere.” 항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리를 통해 그리스도를 아는 지식을 곳곳에 향기처럼 퍼지게 하시는 하나님께 감사하는 일들이 오늘 우리에게 함께 하도록 기도해 주세요   Through this verse we are assured that through our faith in Christ, the battle we are fighting will surely end in victory. While we are in the battlefield in Japan, please pray for our members to persevere and keep fighting against the enemy. However, the battle cannot be won with any sort of darkness in our hearts; our battle is to be fought with a weaponless defense— love. Please pray that we will aggressively resist to choose fear over love. 말씀을 붙들고 모든 전쟁이 승리로 끝날것을 확신하는 그리스도 안에서의 믿음이 세워지게 기도해 주세요. 특히 우리 안에 어두움이 틈타지 않도록, 어두움을 허용하지 않도록, 사랑으로 모든 영적 공격을 물리치도록, 두려움을 완전히 쫓아내도록 기도해주세요.       2. Protection The second topic of prayer is for protection. Please pray that our team may be protected against physical things such as sickness and mosquitos. However please pray also for protection against things that are leading us astray from God. Pray for a deeper sensitivity we will have for spiritual battles and attacks and that God will equip us with the materials we need for protection against anything not of Him.   두번째로는 저희를 보호해 주시도록 기도해 주세요. 두통, 복통, 알러지와 벌레물림등등..육체적인 보호 뿐아니라, 주님으로 부터 멀어지게 하는 모든 것으로부터 우리가 영적으로 분명해져 영적전쟁에서 승리 할수 있는 모든 무기들을 다 갖추고 승리하신 주님과 함께 할수 있도록 기도해 주세요      

Hello Saenuri Family! This is the 7/28/18 update.   Today we decorated the Shibuya church for our VBS this week with the help of some Shibuya church members. 오늘은 VBS위해 시부야 맴버들하고 교회를 꾸몄습니다,                After decorating, our church members met the volunteers that were going to team up with us for VBS.  장식을 마친 후에는 시부야 뱀버들하고 서로를 소개하고  VBS 오리엔테이션을 가졌습니다.    Prayer Request: 1. Love The first topic of prayer is for the team's unity. Please pray for the love we will continue to have within this team and with the Shibuya members as well. Please pray for our earnest desire to be more like God, specifically the desire to relentlessly love like Him. Please continue to pray for our team's attitude to be always positive- that we may see God in every situation. Lastly, please pray for our trust in God. Anything we individually do for ourselves will inevitably fail without the help from God, so please pray that every individual in our team will seek God's wisdom and heart to act according to his will and not ours.    첫번째 기도제모은 팀의 연합입니다. 우리 일본팀 안에 그리고 시부야 교인들 안에 주님의 사랑이 계속하여 흐르도록 기도해 주세요. 하나님의 형상을 닮아 가고 특별히 그 분을  무조건적으로 사랑하는 뜨거운 소망을 갖도록 기도해주세요. 또한 우리 팀이 항상 긍정적으로 모든 상황 가운데 하나님을 볼수 있도록 계속 기도해 주세요. 마지막 으로 하나님을 신뢰하도록 기도해 주세요. 우리가 하나님의 도움 없이 하는 모든 일은 어쩔수 없이 실패 합니다. 그러니 우리 팀이 하나님의 지혜와 마음을 구하고 우리의 뜻이 아닌 그 분의 뜻을 따라가도록 기도해주세요   2. Obedience The second prayer of topic is for our team's obedience. Being in Japan means being in a new enviroment, which can cause some uncomfortablness within the team and individual. Please pray that we will see past our discomfort and that we will seek God's face. Additionally, pray for our accountability. Let us be accountable for ourselves and eachother, that we are following nothing but God's desires for us.   두번째 기도는 우리 팀의 순종 입니다. 일본 단기 선교팀에 속하게 된다는 것은 개인적으로도 팀으로서도 불편할수도 있는 전혀 새로운 환경에 처하게 된다는 뜻입니다. 우리가 우리의 불편함을 보지 않고 하나님의 얼굴을 바라보도록 기도해주세요. 또한 우리가 서로를 위해서 희생할수 있도록 기도해주세요. 서로를 위해서 희생하고 오로지 하나님이 원하시는 것만을 따르도록 기도해주세요.     

Hello Church! This is the update for 7/27/18.   Today was our fellowship day within our team.  오늘은 일본팀에 교제하는 날이어었습니다.   The break was very refreshing for the team due to the busy VBS we had in Ryugasaki and energized us to push on the rest of the week.  Ryugasaki에서 바쁜 VBS때문에 이번 휴식이 아주 좋았습니다. 이번 휴식를 통해서 우리가 남은 사역을 끝까지 마무리 잘할수 있도록 회복되었습니다.       Prayer Request  1. Focus Our main topic of prayer is for our focus. This free day was revitalizing and refreshing for us as a team and indivisually, but please pray that we stay focused for the rest of the trip and we may not lose focus on Him. 우리의 다음 기도 제목은 우리의 집중을 위해서 입니다. 이 자유 시간은 우리가 주님안에서 휴식하고 주님의 교제를하기 위해 가졌습니다. 끝까지 목적 잃지 않고 집중하도록 기도해주세요. 

Hi Saenuri Family! This is the update for 7/26/18.     We started off the last day of VBS at Ryugasaki all together with praise. 찬양으로 VBS 마지막날을 시작했습니다.            Pastor Soomee’s third session of message was about Thomas, teaching the children about believing in Jesus although we can not see Him. 수미 전도사님에 셰번쩨 말씀에 내용은 토마스를 통해서 눈에 보이지않은 하나님을 믿는 것이어습니다.     The skit that followed the message was a story of kids who wrongfully doubted their friend. 말씀 다음에는 친구를 의심 하는 아이들에 연극이 있었습니다.        Pastor Soomee’s fourth message was based on John’s writings of Jesus’ love titled ‘Jesus Loves Me’. 수미 전도사님에 네번쩨 말씀은 요한이쓴 글를 통해 하나님에 사랑을 전했습니다.      For the skit the youth acted out the Creation skit, which delivered the message of the gospel. 말씀 다음에는 유쓰가 준비한 창조연극이 있었습니다. 창조연극을 통해 복음을 전했습니다.     For crafts, the kids created crosses that were designed to look mosaic stained glass. 크래프트는 모자이크 스테인드글라스를 모방하는 십자기를 만들었습니다.              Additionally, the kids made megaphones out of cups to proclaim, “Jesus Loves Me!”. They also made gold trophies to show that they are God's #1. 또다른 크래프트는 메가폰이었습니다. 메가폰에 의미는 '예수님은 나를 사랑한다'를 선포하기 위해서였습니다. 그리고 마지막 크래프트는 하나님에게는 아이들이 최고라는 의미를 위해서 트로피를 만들었습니다.          After morning crafts, we went to the nearby park from the church to play games. 그후에는 특별하게 근처 공원에 게임을하러 갔습니다.       For a special lunch, Ryugasaki Church served Nagashi Somen! 특별하게 Ryugasaki교회와 함께 나가시 소멘을 같이 먹었습니다.         After lunch, we got together for our last session- starting off with praise.  점심후에 마지막 시간에는 차냥으로 시작했습니다.      For the last session, Pastor Soomee shared behind the meaning of the gospel bracelet that we had given to children. She then led the time for the sinner's prayer, planting the seed of faith in the children.  마지막으로는 수미 전도사님은 복음팔찌에 의미를 아이들에게 전했습니다. 그후에는 아이들와 함께 영접기도를 이끌어줘었습니다.        After the session, we took photos together and said our goodbyes to the kids. VBS를 마치고 아이들와 사진을 찍고 작별인사를 했습니다.              After the kids had left, our church members had a debrief meeting with some of the church members of Ryugsaki. 아이들이 다 집에 간후에는 같이 미팅이 있었습니다.          Prayer Request: 1. Ryugasaki Kids The first topic of prayer is for the children we met at the Ryugasaki Grace Chapel during our VBS. Our ministry at this church was only for two days, but God worked through those two days to make sure we made relationships with the children. Please pray that the seed that was planted in them this day would be watched over by God and carefully nurtured by their enviroment. Pray for the confidence that they may have about being a Christian in a country that lacks Christ- that they will truly be the light in the midst of the darkness.    첫번째 기도 제목은 우리가 VBS를 통해서 만난 류가사키의 아이들에 대해서 입니다. 이 교회에서 우리의 사역이 단지 이틀만에 끝나는게 아니라 하나님께서 지난 이틀 동안을 통해 아이들과 우리의 만남과 관계를 갖게 하셨습니다. 그들안에 뿌려진 복음의 씨앗을 하나님께서 지키시고 상황 가운데 성장시키시길 기도합니다. 크리스챤이 없는 이 땅에서 크리스챤으로 당당하게 살아가는 담대함을 위해 기도해 주시고, 그들이 어둠가운데 빛으로 살수 있도록 기도해주세요.   2. Readiness for Shibuya The second topic of prayer is for the Readiness of our mindset and hearts for Shibuya. Many things have happened during these first few days in Japan, and we truly need more of God. Please pray for team unity and Christ's breakthrough in us individually by opening our eyes and hearts to see what He sees and seek after what He wants us to seek. Pray that we will be Christ-led for the rest of the mission and we would not forget why we are here.    두번째 기도 제목은 시부야를 향해 우리 생각과 마음이 준비 되도록 기도해 주세요. 일본에서의 첫 며칠동안 많은 일이 있었고 우리는 하나님이 진심으로 더욱 필요합니다. 팀의 연합과 예수님께서 우리의 눈과 마음을 여시고 우리 한사람 한사람의 자아를 breakthrough 하시어서, 하나님께서 보시는 것을 볼수 있기 원하고 하나님께서 찾으시는 것을 찾을수 있기를 원합니다. 우리가 주님의 인도 하심으로 남은 선교를 마치고 우리를 이곳에 보내신 이유를 잊지 않도록 기도해주세요.   3. Pastor Cho's Family and Church Lastly, please continue to pray for pastor Cho’s family and church. Pastor Cho was the previously Ryugasaki Grace Chapel’s pastor before he deceased due to medical illness two months ago. Please pray for his family, his wife and daughter, for their strength and stability. Additionally, please pray for Ryugasaki Grace Chapel. Pastor Cho’s death has affected many of the members— so please pray for the church’s trust in God’s ability to work in them and their faith to not grow weary.   마지막으로 류가사키 교회의 담임 목사님이셨다가 2달전에 질병으로 하나님 곁으로 가신 조현도 목사님의 가족을 위해서 기도해주세요. 조목사님의 가족, 사모님과 따님의 강건함을 위해서 기도해주세요. 그리고 류가사키 교회를 위해서 기도해주세요. 조 목사님께서 돌아가시고 슬픔 가운데 있는 교인들을 위해서 기도해 주세요. 이분들이 하나님의 능력이 그들 가운데 일하고 믿음이 약해지지 않도록 계속 기도해주세요   

  Thank you for your continuous support for this mission trip 계속된 관심과 응원을 해줘서 감사합니다.       Today we started off with morning worship and breakfast in preparation for the first day of VBS. 오늘아침에는 아침QT과 밥을먹으면서 VBS을 준비했습니다.         The kids started to arrive in the morning with lots of energy for the day. Although the team had been tired in the morning, the kids gave us their energy to keep going throughout the day.   아이들의 밝은 에너지로 VBS가 시작되었습니다. 아침에는 팀이 많이 지쳐있었지만, 아이들의 기운덕분에 힘을 얻었습니다.                Pastor Soomee prepared a message for the Japanese students based on the story of the lost sheep; the message was called Lost and Found. 수미전도산님이 잃은 양에대한 짧은 말씀을 준비하셨습니자. 말씀에 제목은 'Lost and Found' 이었습니다.          The youth on our team prepared short skits to present Bible stories in an engaging way for the children. 팀네 유쓰 아이들이 VBS아이들을 위한 짧은 연극을 준비했습니다. 아이들이 예쁘게 집중하면서 잘 봤습니다.               We gave a little break after lunch for the kids to play with the crafts they had made and for the team to build relationships with the children. 점심후에 아이들에게 잘쁜 휴식시간이 주워젔습니다. 그시간에는 아이들과 팀멤버들이 장난치면서 좋은 추억을 많이 만들었습니다.         After lunch we had praise, the second sermon, and another skit. 점심을 먹고난후 오후 시간이 시작되었습니다. 다른 말씀과 연극을 했습니다.    The second sermon was about God’s power, demonstrated by the resurrection of Lazarus. 두번쩨 말씀은 나사로의 부활을 통헤 죽은자를 살리시는 하나님에 능력을 대해 나눴습니다.          Following the sermon, the children made crafts that corresponded with the sermon and skit. The crafts are made to be a constant reminder to the children that God loves them unconditionally. 말씀에서 베운 내용으로 craft를 꾸미고 만들었습니다. Craft으로 통헤 아이들이 하나님에 절대적인 사랑을 잊지 않도록 만들었습니다.              After crafts we had snack time! 그후에 간식 시간을 가졌습니다.          We ended our day with praise and as we sang the last song, the children screamed our VBS motto “GAME ON!” which showed that God has been present with us.   하루에 마무리는 찬양시간 이었습니다. 처음에는 아이들이 노래부르면서 춤추는게 낯설어서 서있기만 했는데, 끝날때 쯤에 아이들이 같이 큰소리로 노래속에 있는 모토를 소리질었습니다.                    To wrap up, our team members and a few of the church members all shared the blessings we had received throughout the day. 아이들이 간후 VBS에서 받은 축복들과 행복에 대해 나눴습니다.      Prayer Request 기도제목: 1. Well-Being The first topic of prayer is the team’s well-being. A lot of team members are lacking in their mental and physical state- due to jet lag, lack of sleep, weather, and various other physical pains. Please pray especially for our team members John Choe, Timothy Choe, and Eliana Chang. All three of their knees/ankles are in pain, so please pray for recovery. Additionally, please pray for the whole team’s health that we would this mission trip in good shape.   첫번째 기도 제목은 팀의 건강입니다. 많은 팀원들이 시차와 잠 부족, 무더운 날씨, 그리고 여러가지 이유로 정신적으로 육체적으로 지쳐있습니다. 특별히 우리팀의 죤 최, 티모시 최 그리고 엘리아나 장을 위해서 기도해주세요. 이 세명은 무릎과 발목에 통증이 있습니다. 회복을 위해서 기도해주세요. 그리고 이번 ㅅ선교를 잘 마칠수 있도록 전체 팀의 건강을 위해서 기도해주세요    2. Wrapping up + Preparation for Shibuya. The second topic of prayer is a good wrap up for our current church, Ryugasaki, and preparation for the next church- Shibuya. Our first day of VBS at Ryugasaki was very successful and fun, so please pray that our final day of VBS runs smoothly and that we will have succeeded in planting the seed in the children’s hearts.  Please pray for our safety in transit to Shibuya so that we will arrive safely with readiness and energy to attack another VBS camp.   두번째 기도 제목은 류가사키교회에서 사역을 잘 마무리 하고 다음 사역지인 시부야 교회에서의 사역을 잘 준비할수 있도록 기도해주세요. 류가사키에서의 VBS 첫날은 아주 성공적이었고 재미있었는데 VBS 마지막 날이 원활하게 잘 진행되고 아이들이 마음에 복음의 씨앗이 잘 심어지도록 기도해주세요. 또한 우리가 시부야로 안전하게 이동하고 체력적으로 심적으로 준비되고 회복되어서 다음 VBS를 잘 진행할수 있도록 기도해주세요   3.   Japan team has arrived! Thank you for your kind prayers to keep us safe and healthy.   일본 선교팀이 일본에 안전하게 도착했읍니다!       In Korea, we stopped by to eat some Korean food in between our transfer flights at around 6am.   비행기 트랜스퍼때문에 시간이있어서, 인천공항에서 아침 6시에 밥을먹었습니다.         After various flights that separated our team members, we were finally all together in Japan. 여러 비행기편으로 일본에 도착해서, 드디어 모든 팀원들이 만났습니다.       From the airport we headed to out first church, Ryugasaki, with our many bags of luggage. 많은 가방을 갖고, 공항에서 류가사끼에있는 첫번째교회인 류가사끼 은혜 교회에 도착했습니다.     Then, we had lunch with the Ryugasaki some of the church members— Yakisoba! 류가사끼 교인들이 야키소바를 점심으로 만들어줬어요.       After lunch, our team had worship together. We also got to talk to Lee Hyerim, the smn for Ryugasaki Church. 점심후에, 선교팀이 모여서 찬양을 했어요. 그리고, 이혜림사모님께서 저히에게 조언과 말씀을 해줬읍니다.         Until dinner, we decorated the church with posters and sports decorations for VBS tomorrow. 저냑가지, 내일 사작할 VBS을 위해서, 포스터과 장식들로 교회를 꾸몄습니자.                   The praise team for VBS practiced until dinner to get ready for tomorrow! VBS을위해, 저녁까지 댄스팀이 연습했습니다.      After eating dinner, the team headed out to a local Onsen for Japanese Bath. 저녁후에, 샤위를하러 근처 온천에 같이 갔어요.    After the Onsen, the team came back to prep for VBS tomorrow: skits, body worship, and sleeping! 온천후에 교회 다시와서 내일에 VBS을 위해 연극, 율동, 그리고 잠으로 준비했습니다.    Prayer Requests:   1. Unity 하나 되기 Our first topic of prayer is our team's unity. Our team has many different members, from 5th grade to KM members. Please pray for our team's readiness to understand each other and steadiness to maintain a positive COPS attitude. Our team also have members that traveled from Korea and the US, so please pray for the team’s central mindset to be unified in Him. Also, Japan has recently had many people die due to its heat waves, please pray for the team to stay safe and to maintain good health during this trip. Additionally, we start VBS tomorrow, so please pray for a smooth day tomorrow.   일본팀에 첫번제 기도제목은 하나되기입니다. 초등학교에서 어른까지 다양한 연령대가대로 구성되었습니다. 서로를 잘 이해하고 긍정걱인 분위기를 유지할수있도록 많이 기도해주세요. 한국과 미국에서 온 팀원들이있는데, 전체적인 연합를 위한 기도도해주세요. 최근에, 일본의 더운날씨를 인해 많은 사람들이 더위로 사망했습니다. 저희팀에 건강을 위해 많은 기도 부탁드립니다. 마지막으로, 내일 VBS을 시작하는데, 하나님의 은혜 가운데 잘 시작하고 마칠수있도록 기도해주세요.   2. Readiness of Heart 마음의 준비 The second topic of prayer is for the readiness of heart. Our team starts VBS tomorrow for the Japanese kids, so please pray for the kids’ as well as their parents heart to listen to our message to them. Japan currently has a <2% Christian population, so pray for our minisry to leave a small impact within this small community. Also, please pray for the team's readiness of heart. Pray that we will be sensitive to God's voice to lead us.   두번째 기도제목은 마음의 준비입니다. 내일 일본아이들을 위한 VBS 를 시작합니다. 그 아이들뿐만 아니라 아이들의 부모님의 마음도 우리의 복음을 들을수 있는 준비가 되도록 기도해주세요. 일본은 현재 2% 도 안되는 크리스챤이 있습니다. 그래서 우리의 사역이 이 작은 나라에 영향을 끼칠수 있길 바랍니다. 또한 우리팀을 마음을 위해서도 기도해주세요. 우리를 인도하시는 하나님의 음성을 예민하게 듣도록 기도해주세요.   3. 일본 단기선교팀이 주일 저녁 교회에서 출발했습니다.    한국에서 참여하시는 분들까지 해서 총 21명의 선교팀이 일본 땅을 섬기기 위해서 갔습니다.    특별히 매년 방문하는 교회에서 아이들을 위한 여름성경학교 사역이 수년째 계속 되기 때문에 많이 익숙하고 낮익은 아이들을 많이 만나게 될 것입니다. 그러기에 더욱 편안하게 예수님의 사랑과 복음을 나눌 수 있기를 기도합니다.    다음 주 목요일에 돌아올 때까지 모두 함께 기도로 동참해주시기 바랍니다.    승주찬~          

안녕하세요. J국에서 5번째 소식입니다.   오늘은 minstry 일정이 없어서 주일 예배를 드리러 현지에 있는 Arab baptist church 방문이 예정되어 있었습니다 Baptist church Dahiet - Al rasheed 교회 인데요. 무슬림 국가에서 예수님을 우리의 주로 고백하고 살아가는 그들이 무척 궁금해지더군요.   여느때와 같이 숙소 로비에서 진행된 찬양과 devotion 시간은 정말 감동적입니다. 하나님께서 두려움을 잊고 믿음으로, 열방을 향하여 복음을 전하시라는 그 말씀을 저희에게 주시고 이제 저희에게 길을 내어 주시는 하나님을 찬양합니다.   오늘은 특별히 저희에게 쉼을 허락해 주셔서 팀원들 모두 재충전되는 감사한 하루였습니다.           저희 숙소가 선교사님의 센터 근처에 1마일 거리에 있는터라 아주 복잡한 Amman 구 시가지 근처에 위치한 덕에 이른 아침에 현지 교회로 향하는 길에 숙소 바로 옆에 있는 유적지에 들릴 기회가 생겼네요.   아침 이른시간이라 덥지 않을것으로 예상했지만 불행히도 무척 더운 아침 햇살이였습니다. 그동안의 일정으로 조금은 지쳐있는 상황이였지만 하나로 움직여지고 있는 시간 한순간 한순간 정말 감사한 시간이였습니다.   이동 차량중에 뒷자석쪽에서 아름다운 찬양 곡들이 불러지시 시작하네요. 할렐루야~~!!                 가는길에 저희 숙소 바로 옆에 있는    Baptist church Dahiet - Al rasheed

  어린아이와 같은 마음으로 시작된 J국 단기선교. 그래서인지 주님께 매달리다시피 하며 준비할 수 밖에 없었던거 같습니다. 어린아이 같은 마음으로 부르심에 모인 저희들은 아버지의 마음이 무엇인지 열중하며 그 음성에 민감하게 반응할 수 있도록 기도하며 준비해 왔습니다. 주시는 마음으로 이것저것 모으고 준비해 가방 하나가득 체워 넣습니다. 하나님의 뜻과 성령님의 움직이심은 저희 생각과 다를 수 있음을 전적으로 알고 신뢰하기에 그 또한 가방에 챙겨 넣습니다.  

Today is the day that the construction team have been working so hard for the last few days...key dedication service!  Thanks to our God, we were able to deliver a new house to the Gonzalez Curiel Family in just three and half days.   Day 4 Summary video   It seemed impossible task at first for a team of 5 adults and 12 youths per day (the other 13 youths were holding VBS at a local church)...we started with this on Day 1...     Only the asphalt foundation was ready for us.   then the 1st wall was put up   after four walls were up, then came the roofing...       How the house looked when we got there this morning, the fourth day.  A lot of detailed work to be done today.   Additional work on the interior walls, furnitures, etc.  And here's the completed house!     And now recap of today.   As usual, we kicked off the morning with QT, followed by praise and worship by the Yugo team.       A little break before we hit for the ministry areas.       P. Paul and the team looking forward to the day!     [Construction]   A group prayer before we start the work for the day.   The painting and clean up team working on the interior of the house today.     Since the key dedication service was scheduled for 2pm when VBS was to be ongoing, we decided to bring the whole team to the house to check out the progress before lunch as part of team will miss today's key dedication service!  We celebrated the occassion with ice cream.   This year's Mexico Family Mission team!  Praise God!  We couldn't have done it without anyone of them.   After the break, today's construction team got back to working.     Major part of painting has been completed...cleaning up the tools for the next team.   Final touch up and installation of furnitures and getting the house ready.           Yay, we finished the house!  The 5 adults that worked on the house, proud of the accomplishment!   Then the Gonzalez family prepared homemade lunch for us.     The food smelled and looked so good.   Today's lunch menu!   After lunch, we held the key dedication service.  Everyone passed around the key and gave a short message to the new owners of the house.   We then blessed the family...   and the house!   P. Hwang then handed the key to the new homeowners.   Word of thanks from each family members.   Then the lady of the house opening the front door.   We were then invited into the Gonzalez Curiel family's new house!   We prayed and blessed the family one more time!   Group picture in front of the new house.     As part of dedication, we also gave them a nectarine tree.  And as the tree grows and bear fruits, we asked that God will bless this family to bear fruits in Christ in the neighborhood.   Kids were excited to have a bed of their own.   Our work is done for now.   A last farewell from the family!   [VBS]   Here are some pics from VBS.      

Today is a rest day before we head back up to NCBC on Saturday.  And today was no different then other days.  As usual, we started the day with QT at 6:30am and worship at 7:30am.     After some free time after breakfast...     ...we headed to a beach nearby   Some went in to play in the water immediately.     Some played in the sand.         Some family picture as well       Some helped change the look of P. Paul.   After spending some time at beach, wewent to grab some fish tacos for a late lunch @ Baja Burro.  Homemade tortillas...hmmm so good.   We noticed all the stickers, so we had to leave our own presence ;)   Br. Eric Song approves ;)   Last group picture @ Baja Burro.   Tomorrow, we plan to get up at 5am, load up the van, and then leave at 6am.  We are not sure how long the border crossing will be, but we plan to have a quick breakfast at San Diego, then stop for lunch in Koreatown in LA, before driving back up to NCBC.   This will conclude the daily update for 2018 Mexico Family Mission.  Please continue to pray for all the drivers who have a long drive ahead of us, for quick crossing of the border, and for safety of the whole team until our return to NCBC.

Today is Day 3 of 2018 Mexico Family Mission, and "Day 2" of mission work.   Day 2 Summary Video       As part of the daily schedule, the team woke up at 6:30am for quick wash up and daily QT.  At 7:30am, we were blessed by the morning worship and service.   Followed by breakfast at 8:15am.   At 9am, the team left for their respective ministry, VBS and Construction.     [VBS]   The VBS team continued to work with 20 or so kids for the day.       [Construction]   Today's work entailed finishing up the frames on the roof, the interior dry wall, ceiling and installing the windows.  The way the house looked in the morning.   We started the construction work with prayer.   The painting crew for the day!   And off to work...   Roofing work mostly done by P. Hwang and Br. Minwoo.  They were pretty much in the sun all day long.   In the meantime, the rest of crew focused on the interior.  Putting up the ceiling.   Putting up the rest of drywalls.   And filling up the nails and the edges.   The Gonzalez Curiel family checking out the handiwork.   Not all work though, the youth got to meet and spend time with the kids of the Gonzalez Curiel family.     Here are some random pics of the team that worked on Construction today!     2nd day of ministry work is completed!   For the construction team, although we have accomplished a lot in just two days as you can see on the progress, we are a bit behind on the schedule as we don't have as many adult team members compared to other groups that are here this week with us at Yugo.  Especially since, tomorrow, we have to finish work early by 3pm in order to get ready for Wednesday worship with the church that we are holding the VBS with.  During the worship, youth team will be doing few praise songs, and testimonials.  In addition, P. Paul will be giving a short sermon as well.  Please pray that God will prepare their hearts.    For tomorrow, the "Day 3" construction team will be finishing up the roofing and the interior.  In addition, we will be making 3 bunk beds and a dining table before the dedication ceremony on Thursday.  Since we will be working on the roof tomorrow, please pray for safety of those that will be working on it.   As we enter the midpoint of the mission trip, the whole team is so blessed and on spiritual high, but tiredness is starting to creep up.  This is when the enemy strikes, so please pray that the whole team is spiritually aware and ready to guard against it!
