이곳에서의 마지막날입니다. Today is the last day at Brazil오늘은 아마존 강변을 돌며 이곳 사람들의 삶에 대해서 조금 공부하는 땅밟기 시간을 가졌습니다. We had time of prayer walk around Amazon river and Manaus.사실 강이라고 부르지만 거의 바다라고 할 만큼 규모가 크고 이곳 사람들이 많은 삶이 이 강을 통해서 이루어지고 있음을 느낄수 있습니다. We call Amazon as "river" but it is almost like an "ocean"두가지 색깔의 강물이 만나는 곳... Two colors in the river meet here..아마존의 특징인 핑크돌고래를 볼수 있었습니다. We were be able to see Pink Dolphins 다른데에서도 가끔 볼수 있지만 이곳은 아주 가까이서 볼수 있는 곳이네요.. 가두어 놓지는 않았는데 어떻게 이 지역에서만 모여있는지 신기합니다.We could see "pink dolphins" on the way here but we could see them real close. I'm not sure how Dolphins are staying in this area even though there is no fence around.. 원주민과 한컷... 사진을 찍는데 돈을 내야 한다네요.. Shot with indigenous people.. We had to pay though원주민들이 물고기를 이렇게 굽네요..This is how indigence people cook fish!!보트에서 내리고 다시 보트로 돌아가는 길.. 보통때는 물 수위가 높아서 배를 바로 옆에서 타는데 지금은 500미터 정도를 걸어 내려가야 보트를 탈수 있습니다.Getting off and return into board after.. In normal conditions, people can get on the boat from shore without walking any distance but we had to walk almost 500 meter to get to the boat!물위에 떠 있는 식당.. Floating Restaurant!물위에 떠 있는 집에서 사는 사람도 있구요.. There are people living on the floating house!!아마존에서 제일 큰 물고기중 하나 피라루쿠가 힘이 얼마나 센가를 느낄수 있는 피라루쿠 낚시체험Fishing of Pirarucu.. we can feel how strong this fish is..아마존강에서 별로 볼수 없는 다리..교각밑의 드러난 기초공사 기둥.. 가뭄으로 강쉬위가 낮아지면서 기초기둥이 많이 보입니다.. 120년만의 최악의 가뭄이어서 하류는 그래도 괜찮지만 상류는 아주 힘들다고 합니다.Exposed foundation pillar of bridge. It is due to severe drought. This is worst drought in 120 years and people in the upper stream are having a difficult time.손목사님, 아마존 튜어 가이드와 함께..Pastor Son with the Amazon tour guide어디서나 보트에서 내려서 가는길은 많이 걸어야 하네요.. 이런 가뭄을 대처하지 못해서 선착장이 핸들을 할수 없는것 같습니다.It is always long walk getting on and off the boat due to drought. They didn't anticipate such severe drought and boating docks are not capable of handling it.시내에 있는 생선시장을 들렀습니다. 가뭄이라서 그런지 큰 물고기가 많이 보이지는 않았습니다.We stopped by the fish market in the city.. we didn't see a whole lot of fish due to drought..이번에 고생을 많이 하신 이진환목사님과 장정하자매님.. 오늘은 완전히 회복되셨네요.! 기도의 힘입니다.Pastor Jin and sister Joanne had very a hard time the other day but today, they are completely recovered.. Power of prayers!저녁시간이 좀 일러서 시내 샤핑센터에 들렀는데 오늘이 "할로위"이라고 분장을 한 아이들이 많이 보입니다. We had some time till dinner so we stopped by the shopping center and we saw many people with Halloween costumes가게에서 손님들을 모으기 위해 과자를 준비해 놓고 분장을 한 아이들에게 나누어주고 있네요.. Looks like the store is promoting this to attract more customers.할로윈은 브라질과 전혀 관계가 없는데도 많은 나라처럼 "상속"에 빠져서 이런 행사를 권장하는 것 같습니다.. 하루빨리 브라질땅이 이런 사탄의 놀림에서 벗어나기 위하여 많은 기도가 필요한것 같습니다.Brazil doesn't have anything to do with Halloween but merchants are promoting bad things without knowing what's behind..교통체증은 몇몇 나라의 문제만은 아닌것 같습니다.Traffic problem is not just for few countries.. 오늘은 매튜형제의 생일입니다. 그래서 조그마한 케잌으로 생일을 축하해 주었습니다.. 근데 엊그저께 동산교회에서 생일인 사람들을 앞으로 나오게 하면서 매튜형제가 짐작을 했다고 합니다...Today is Matthew's birthday. Team wanted to have surprise birthday celebration. But Matt said that he knew because of announcement the other day..e저녁식사후 마나우스 동산교회로 돌아와 짐을 다시 정리하고.. Came back to Manaus Mountain Church and packed for tonight공항으로 이동하기 전에 모임을 갖고 나눔의 시간을 갖습니다. We are having a sharing session before we depart to the airport!마지막 순간까지도 나눔의 시간을 뺴 놓을수 없죠.. We can't skip our sharing time even though it is the last day!선교사님들께 조그마한 감사의 뜻을 표하였습니다.We presented with a small amount to show our thank you for their help in this trip!새벽시간까지 저희를 공항에 라이드 해주시기 위해서 나오신 선교사님... 아쉬운 작별인사를 합니다..Missionaries came to airport to send us away.. Farewell is always hard..이번 단기선교는 스케줄이 계속 밤늦게나 새벽에 비행기를 타고 밤을 비행기에서 보내고 다음날 아침에 도착하는 일정이 되었네요In this trip, it seems every flight schedule is leaving either late night or super early morning and then spending the night in the airplane!마지막날까지 긴 하루를 보내네요.. 비행기가 3시 42분이어서 교회에서 자정정도에 나갈예정입니다.. 비행기 안에서 잠을 잘 자야 할텐데..Another long day.. Our flights are 3:42am and hopefully we can sleep in the plane..육체적으로 매우 힘든 단기선교였지만 사역을 잘하고 또 팀웍이 가장 좋았던 단기선교팀이 아닌가 합니다.II was a physically hard mission trip due to the weather, sleeping condition  and schedule but the ministries were really good and team work was good as well.우리는 브라질의 장래가 밝음을 볼수 있었습니다.We saw the potential for big growth of Christianity in Brazil또 한가지는 새누리의 청년세대의 신앙의 성숙도입니다. 이번에 21명중 11명이 청년들인데 그중에는 처음으로 단기선교에 온 형제, 자매도 여러명 있었지만 다들 묵묵히 맡은일을 잘 하고 또 서로 돕고자 하는 마음이 많아 그 다른 어떤 단기팀보다 팀웍이 좋았던 것 같습니다.Another thing I like to share are NCBC's young adults. In this trip, 11 out of 21 members were young adults. There were few members who were joined that 1st mission trip but they were also very supportive and wanted to help others without complaining.. 이런 청년들이 나중에 새누리의 리더로 세워질때 새누리교회의 장래는 밝을것 같습니다.If young adults become next generation leaders in NCBC, our future will be brighter!지금까지 글을 읽어주시고 기도로 동참하신 모든 분들에게 감사드리고 내년에 더 많은 분들이 새누리의 단기선교에 조인할수 있기를 소망합니다.Thank you again for reading the posts and hopefully many of you will join NCBC's next mission trips!승주찬Praise the victorious Lord!

할렐루야! 이제 오늘이 사역 마지막날이네요.. Today is the last day of ministry.8일간의 사역은 보통 단기선교중 많은 사역을 했음에도 빨리 지나간것 같은 아쉬움이 남는것은 저희가 이동을 여러번하고 3군데에서 사역을 해서 그런것 같습니다.8 days of ministry is one of most days we have done for NCBC short term missions but it felt very short. One of reasons could be because we did ministry in three different cities.육체는 피곤하지만 아마존 강변에 있는 아이들을 만난다는 생각에 팀원 모두 기쁨 충만함으로 하루를 시작합니다.Physically, everyone is very tired but our spirits were pretty high to start today!아마존강의 부두, Amazon River Port 짐을 배로 옳기는데 수위가 낮아서 많이 걸러가야 합니다.. 흙길을 이민가방을 끌고 가는게 만만치 않네요..Due to the low water level of the Amazon river, we had to carry our bags a longer distance to the boat.. It is not easy to roll "immigration bags" on dirt road!!    마나우스 시내보다 더 열악한 환경에서 사역하러 가는데도 다들 은혜 충만으로 신났습니다.. Everyone's spirit was high even though the ministry condition will be much harsher in the riverside church 가뭄으로 인해 원래의 물 수위보다 10미터 이상 내려가서 10여개의 가방을 메고 올라오는 길이 만만치 않습니다. 온도는 아침 일찍 부터 90도가 넘어가는데.. 시작하기도 전에 벌써 지쳤네요. ㅎㅎBecause of the  severe drought, the water level was more than 10 meter(30ft) lower and it made it twice as hard to carry over 10 bags to the top 무더위에 무거운 짐들을 들고 올라왔더니 땀이 비오듯.. 얼을므로 땀을 식히고 있는 저화 정식형제.. 아 시원하다!! So cool!! 강변마을에 5개 지교회가 있는데 그중에 두곳에서 저희가 사역을 합니다. 이곳은 아마존강이 범람을 하면 물이 많이 올라오기 떄문에 집들이 다 1미터 이상씩 떠 있습니다. 주위는 집은 별로 없고 푸른초장에서 뛰어노는 소들밖에 안보이네요.. 말도 가끔 보이고요. 멀리 아마존 밀림이 보입니다!There aren't many houses around the church but we saw many cows, horses.. We could see the Amazon rain forest far away짐을 또 거의 이층 높이로 올리고 이 새 지역에 사역을 하신 주님꼐 감사기도를 드립니다.We thanked God who brought us here and reached out to people in this area사역을 시작하기 전에 주님의 마음을 갖게 해 달라고 또 그런 마음으로 아이들을 사랑하고 섬기게 해 달라고 기도를 드렸습니다.Before we starts today's VBS, we prayed to have Jesus's heart and love so we can love all of children we see and meet today도착하니 아이들과 엄마들이 기다리고 있습니다.. The kids and parents were waiting for us when we arrived 찬양과 율동으로 시작합니다.. 처음으로 대하는 것일텐데 그래도 잘 따라하는 아이들...We started with body worship. Even though it is the first time they heard and saw these songs, they are good following.  오전에는 한 30명의 아이들이 왔습니다. 그러다 보니 팀이 좀더 아이들과 가까이 할수 있는 기회가 되었던것 같습니다.There were about 30 kids in the morning session. Because of the small number, we were be able to connect with kids better 팀이 준비한 스킷을 열심히 지켜보는 아이들..Kids glued to the Skit. 엄마들도 관심있게 지켜보고 있습니다. 아이들을 대상으로 하는 VBS이지만 이를 통하여 어른들도 복음을 듣는 기회가 되고 있습니다.Our programs were targeted for children but these could be opportunity for the parents to hear the Gospel  태권도를 배우고 있는 아이들..TaeKwonDo learning time!Stretching time!  송판격파시간.. 아이들이 두려움없이 다 잘합니다. Many children broke the board in one try.. It seems they don't have fear.. 이주원형제가 스카가 된것 같습니다. 많은 여자아이들이 주원형제와 사진을 찍기를 원했습니다!Brother Jiwon became a star! Many girls wanted to take pictures with him!!오후시간에는 거의 두배가 넘는 아이들이 참석했는데 저희가 아이들을 환영할 수 있는 시간이 있었습니다..There were almost double the number of kids in the afternoon session. We were be able to welcome them with a human arch!! 만든 복음팔찌를 보이고 있는 아이들.. 복음팔찌를 설명해주고 확실히 이해하도록 다시 확인하는 시간도 가졌습니다.They are showing the "Faith Bracelet" that they made themselves.. We made sure they understand what it means.. 이 아이는 아트에 재능이 있는 아이인것 같습니다.. This kid have talent in Art!이곳의 아이들의 도시의 아이들에 비해서 더 순진하고 말도 잘듣는것 같습니다. 도시가 아이들의 마음을 강팍하게 하지 않나 싶습니다.We felt kids in this area are much pure and also well disciplined! It seems the city makes a child's heart hard 이번 단기선교는 스킷을 가장 많이 한 단기선교가 아닌가 싶습니다. 두가지 스킷을 총 10번을 했네요.. "죄 의자"는 7번, 그리고 "예수님의 일생"은 3번.. 하도 많이 하다보니 "죄 의자"에서 역을 맡으신 분들은 이제 연극계로 진출할정도의 능숙함이 있습니다.This Brazil mission could be the one where we did the most Skits.. There were a total of 10 skits. We did "Sin Chair" 7 times and "life of Jesus" 3 times. We joked that we could go to Hollywood now since we are so good after doing it so many times!점심과 저녁은 이곳에서 배달로.. 시간을 절약할수 있는 방법이죠.. 브라질음식을 처음으로 먹는 팀원이 많았지만 음식때문에 문제가 된적을 전혀 없고 다들 잘 소화해내서 이것도 주님의 은혜이죠!Both lunch and dinner were delivered food from nearby restaurant and this was a time saver!. Brazil food was the first time for many member but we didn't have any trouble with the food. This is also God's grace!! 아이들에게 준비한 선물을 전달하며 아이들을 축복해주는 시간을 가졌습니다.Handing out goody bags.. 모든것을 마치고.... with everyone together! Morning and afternoon session  강변마을에는 모기가 많다고 해서 다들 단단히 준비하고 갔습니다.. 산하형제가 8개나되는 모기퇴치 밴드를 하고 왔습니다!.. 그래서 그런지 하나도 안 물렸습니다We were told that there are a lot of mosquitos in Riverside church so we had to prepared... "Green" band is "Mosquitos repellent bracelet". This brother had 8 of them on him 이교회 목사님과 함께(청색 티셔츠를 입으신 분)... With the Pastor of this church(the one with Blue shirt) 교회 건너편에서.. 교회 건물 말고는 다 초원입니다. Shot in front of the church. Church is surrounded by a green field.. 이 교회에서 사역을 다 마치고 다른 교회(의료팀이 사역을 하고 있는 곳)로 이동하는데 몇명의 형제 자매들은 걸어서 가기로 했습니다. 거리가 5마일이라고 했는데 멀어보이지 않아서 시도해 보기로 했습니다We had to go to another church for dinner and Monday worship service at 7:00pm. It is about 5 miles and a few of us decided to walk instead of riding the shuttle bus.걸어가는 중에 농부 아저씨 한분을 만났는데 기도해줘도 되냐고 물어보니까 흥쾌히 승락을 해서 같이 기도해주고 또 복음팔찌를 달아 드리고.. 영어를 전혀 못해서 대화는 되지 않았지만 주님께 맡겨드리는 기도를 드렸습니다.While walking toward the other church, we met a farmer and asked him if we can pray for him. He said "yes" so we prayed for him and gave him a "faith bracelet". Even though he didn't speak any English we let God do his work on him!마나우스에서 노방전도를 할때도 느꼈지만 이곳 브라질 사람들은 다른 나라에 비해 좋게 대해주는 것 같습니다.It seems Brazilians are more receptive to hear the Gospel than other countries..브라질 도착한지 8일째 되는데 날씨도 더웠고 스케줄도 꽉짜인 가운데 여러 팀원이 많이 지쳐있습니다. 조그만 기회가 되면 낮잠을 자게 되죠..It's been 8 days since we arrived in Brazil. We had packed schedule and it was hot most of time.. Members are tired and taking a nap whenever opportunities arise!의료선교팀이 사역을 했던 교회입니다. VBS 팀이 이곳에 와서 저녁을 같이하고 저녁예배를 이곳 교회 성도님들과 같이 드렸습니다.This is the church that the medical mission team stayed throughout the day.. The VBS team moved to this church after ministry and joined night worship service!말씀전에 서로 환영하는 시간... Welcoming time! 오늘 말씀은 손목사님꼐서 전해 주셨습니다. 예수님을 제데로 믿고 천국에서 만나자를 강조하시네요..Today's sermon was from Pastor Son.. He shard that we need to correctly believe Jesus and we hope to see in heaven! 예배가 끝나고 남은 성도님들과.. Shot after the service오늘은 VBS와 의료선교가 다른 교회에서 이루어져서 의료선교 사진을 별로 찍지를 못했네요.. 의료팀은 너무 바빠서 사진을 찍을시간도 없었다고 합니다..Sorry for not having  medical ministry pictures.. Today, VBS and Medical mission was in different churches so I could not take any pictures. Medical team could not take a lot of pictures because they were so busy with patients.  새누리교회 성도님들의 기도 덕분에 모든 사역 잘 마치고 내일은 아마존강가를 둘러보는 땅밟기로 하루를 보냅니다.We were be able to finish 8 days of mission through the prayer support of our NCBC home church.  Tomorrow we will have a day to look around the Amazon river그동안 많은 성도님들이 글을 읽어 주시고 또 댓글을 달아주셔서 이곳에서 큰 힘이 되었습니다.Thank you for reading all of posts and special thanks to those who replied. Both fully participated today's ministry특히 이진환목사님은 밤새 고생했는데 신기하리만큼 하루만에 꺠끗하게 나은것이 많은분들의 기도와 하나님의 은혜임을 나누어주셨습니다. 선교지에서 경험할수 있는 하나님의 기적이것 같습니다.Pastor Jin testified that it is miracle that he was be able to fully recover in just one day. 오늘은 주일이고 아마존 동산마을에서 이틀째이자 마지막 사역날입니다. 오늘 주일예배는 이곳의 성도님들과 같이 예배를 드립니다.Today is 2nd the day at the Amazon mountain Church and also the last day of ministry. We worshiped with local believers in this church.이곳의 날씨는 거의 아리조나 피닠스 수준이네요.. 저녁에도 온도가 잘 내려가지 않습니다. The temperature in Manaus is almost like Phoenix, AZ.. The temperature doesn't go down even at night. 아침 사역을 시작하기전 곧 시작될 새누리 교회의 주일예배를 위해 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 새누리교회도 우리를 위해 기도할것을 알기에 이곳에서도 기도하며 새누리의 모든 성도들이 어디에 있든 신령과 진정으로 예배를 드리기를 기도합니다.We gathered together and prayed for NCBC's Sunday worship service. We know NCBC will pray for us so we need to pray for them as well. We prayed that every member of NCBC worship in spirit and in truth 이번에는 사역지를 3군데에서 하기에 시작하자마자 끝나는 듯한 느낌이 있기도 하면서 아쉬움이 많이 남는것 같습니다.We are doing ministry in three different places in this year's Brazil mission trip so it feels we end as soon as we start이곳에서 배우 흥미로운 형제를 만났습니다. 이 형제는 미국 콜로라도에서 있다가 브라질로 선교를 왔다가 통역으로 온 브라질 자매와 결혼을 하고 지금은 브라질에서 살고 있다고 하네요.We met very interesting person yesterday(Yellow T-Shirt, forgot his name). He is an American but lives in Brazil after he married a Brazilian girl. He met his wife during an Amazon mission trip and his wife was the translator during his trip. 아버지는 선교사였고 자기는 여기서 직장을 가지고 있지만 선교에 관심을 많이 가지고 있다고 합니다. 이 교회를 들린 이유는 저희 메디칼팀에서 통역을 하고 있는 자매가 와이프의 친구여서 같이 왔다가 저희 사역이 흥미로와서 어제와 오늘 저희를 도와주었습니다.Also he is son of missionary and came to this church because one of the translator for the medical mission team is a friend of his wife.He said that he was impressed with NCBC's mission team and came by today after yesterday 손목사님과 강해용형제 많이 닮은 루시아노 부목사님.. 이 교회를 아주 열심히 섬기고 계신다고 합니다.Pastor Son with Jr. pastor Rusiano who helps with ministry in this church. He looks like brother Kang from KM!! 약 50명정도의 아이들이 어제에 이어 VBS에 참여했습니다. Similar to yesterday, There were about 50 kids in today's VBS.둘째날이어서 어제 보다 아이들이 더 잘 따라합니다. 그리고 교회에서 섬기는 자매도t같이 하고요. Most of kids are good at body worship movements since this is the 2nd time.. Sisters from this church also joined the dance team.. Kids loved Taekwondo sessions...푹푹찌는 더위에 태권도 도복을 입고 땀을 뻘뻘흘리면서 아이들에게 태권도를 가르쳐주고 있는 팀원들.. 태권도는 이제 글로벌운동이 돈것 같습니다. 이곳에도 브라질사범이 운영하는 태권도 도장이 몇개 있다고 합니다.It was so hot inside of the church building but team member were dedicated to teach children TaeKwonDo. It seems TaeKwonDo becamse a global sports and many kids know it already. I was told that there are few TaeKwonDo Gyms in this area 다시한번 태권도를 통한 선교가 새누리의 단기선교에도 유용하게 쓰일수 있으리라 믿습니다.Again, TaeKwonDo can be a very good tool to reach out to kids and share the Gospel. 복음팔찌에 대해서 설명해 주고 아이들에게 잘 이해하고 있는지 확인하고 있는 이황자매..Sister Lee is checking to see if kids remember the "Faith Bracelet" correctly.. This kid did!!  VBS를 마치고 아이들에게 간식을 나누어주고 특히 오늘이 마지막이라 새누리에서  준비한 선물을 나누어줍니다.  선물을 나누어주기 전에 열심히 선물을 만들고 있습니다. 짐 부피를 줄이느라 미국에서 개별 포장을 하지 않고 이곳에서 봉투에 넣는 작업을 해야했습니다.오늘도 의료팀은 줄서서 기다리시는 환자들을 치료하시느라 하루종일 바쁘게 보내셨습니다. 어제 너무 바쁜관계로 환자들 기도를 많이 못해드렸다고 간증하셨었는데 오늘은 기도하는 모습이 많이 보입니다 혼자 가려진 공간에서 침을 놓고 계시는 문삼련자매님.. 좀 외로시겠어요!! 오늘의 말씀은 베드로가 물위를 걷다가 빠지는 스토리를 중심으로 신뢰에 대해서 이진환목사님이 인형극을 이용하여 전해주셨습니다.Pastor Jin shared the message using the puppet show.. Today's story was about "trust". It was based on Peter who walked on the water but sunk where he didn't focus on Jesus 신뢰에 대한 예로서 두명의 형제들이 직접 시범으로 보여줍니다.. 누가 뒤에서 받을것을 확신하고 안보고 뒤로 넘어질수 있을까요?Demonstration of "Trust".. Can you fall backward and trust someone will catch you?? VBS가 끝나고 다함께...내일은 다른 곳에서 사역을 하기에 장식을 다 떼어야 했습니다.We had to take the decoration down for tomorrow's ministry in a different church! This is the 2nd time putting decoration up and down. 오늘 식사는 이곳의 특식인 생선과 치키구이로 선교사님이 준비해 주셨습니다. Today's meal was prepared by the missionaries.. Amazon fish and chicken!아마존에서만 나는 "피라나"라는 생선구이.. Grilled Piranha and chicken were today's lunch menu! 마나우스에서는 예배가 저녁 6시 30분에 시작하는데 이유는 낮에는 너무 더워서 그런다고 합니다.Manaus Sunday service starts at 6:30pm. Missionary said that it is because weather is so hot that people won't come during the daytime. 원래 저희가 주일은 예배에 집중하고 사역이 거의 없는데 이곳에서는 하루종일 사역을 하고 저녁에 같이 예배를 드렸습니다.We typically don't do much ministry on Sunday because of Sunday's morning worship service but because Sunday's worship service is at night, we had a full day of ministry today. 청년부 찬양팀의 영제 형제가 이곳 찬양팀에 조인하여 헌금송을 연주하고 찬양을 같이 헀습니다. 손목사님은 드럼을 쳐 볼까 했지만 이미 드럼반주자가 있네요..Brother YoungJae joined and played guitar and sang during "offering time. Pastor Son wanted to play drum but got rejected!! 헌금시간.... 각자 앞으로 나가서 헌금을 헌금함에 넣네요.. Offering time.. Everyone goes to the front and puts offering in the box  상파울로에서와 같이 예배시간에 새누리에서 준비한 스킷, 태권도 그리고 특송순서가 있습니다.Just like Sao Paulo, they gave us time to share our Skits, TaeKwondo and Special song. Pastor Son delivered Sunday service message. His message was about God's love.Sin Chair Skit을 통해서 예수님만이 죄의 문제를 해결해 주심을 강조헀고요..We performed the "Sin Chair" Skit to show that "Jesus is the only way to be cleared of our sin 예수님 일대기 스킷을 통하여 우리의 구원자 되시는 예수님을 다시 생각해보는 시간을 가졌습니다.We had a time of reflection about Jesus's life who came down from heaven to save us!포르투갈언로 "주께 가까이"와 "God is so good" 특송 시간도 가졌구요..We sang "draw me close" and God is so good" in Portuguese오늘 주일설교 말씀은 손목사님이 "하나님이 당신을 사랑하십니다"라는 제목으로 전해 주셨습니다.Pastor Son delivered the sermon about "God loves you" 손목사님의 인도로 서로를 위해서 기도해주는 시간도 가졌습니다..Pastor Son let everyone pray each other.. 교회가 생일자들을 매달 축하해주는 시간이 있네요. 매튜의 생일이 10월이어서 매튜도 본의 아니게 축하를 받고....본인은 나가기 싫어했는데 우리가 떠밀었습니다. ㅋㅋㅋ.. 사실 깜짝 생일파티를 해줄려고 했는데 매튜가 이미 알아서 놀래게 할수는 없을것 같네요.Church celebrate the birthday of people... Matthew's birthday is in Oct! Matthew didn't want to go out but we pushed him out. We had a plan to do a surprise birthday party but now he knows and I'm not sure it will be a surprise party anymore (I'm sure Matthew won't read this post but please don't tell him about it)예배를 마치고 참석한 모든 분들과.. 이미 집에 가신 분들도 많은데 남아 있는 분들 함꼐 햇습니다.Group photo after service.. many people left already but with the remaining people..NCBC team!! 호텔로 돌아옵니다... 오늘 아치에 7시에 출발했는데 14시간후인 저녁 9시에 돌아왔네요.. 긴 하루였지만 감사할일이 많고 은혜가 많은 날이었습니다. 몇명은 벌써 잠에 떨어졌네요.. 많이 피곤했겠죠.On the way back to Hotel.. Started 7:00am and returned to hotel around 9:00pm.. It was such long day but it also was a very thankful day! Some fell asleep already..어제 올리지 못한 사진인데 이곳에 저희들이 온다고 한글로 "환영합니다" 사인을 여기 현지 교인들이 그렸다고 합니다..I could not upload yesterday but this is a sign that local member drew and wrote in Korean to welcome us 점심식사후에 오후 사역을 시작하기 전에 잠시 낮잠에 빠진 형제님 두분.. 아이들이 신기해서 바라 보네요.After lunch and before we started afternoon ministry, two bothers fell asleep.. Kids are watching them curiously.. 사실 올릴까 말까 한 사진인데요..이진환목사님과 장정하자매님이 몸이 매우 않좋았습니다.I was hesitating to post this picture but... These are pastor Jin and Sister Joanne이진환 목사님은 설사병으로 밤새 잠을 못주무시고 거의 탈진 상태.. 장정하 자매는 편두통으로 음식를 전혀 먹지 못해 기운이 없으셨고.. 그래서 의료팀이 포도당주사를 놔 주셨고 푹쉬고 다들 거의 완전하게 회복되셨습니다.Pastor Jin has diarrhea and could not sleep all night due to bathroom trips and sister Joanne had migraine and could not eat anything.. Our medical team helped with an IV.이 목사님은 여기 water dispenser에서 물을 받아 먹은것 때문에 설사가 나신것 같습니다. 선교지에서는 병물 아니면 절대 먹지 말라는손목사님의 강력한 "리마인더"가 있었습니다. Pastor Jin drank water from the water dispenser and that might have caused diarrhea. We always emphasize to drink bottle water and do not ask "ice" either.저희 교회에서 협력하고 있는 "이경승/정다운"선교사님이 인사차 이 교회를 방문하셨습니다. 이 선교사님은 약 20분 정도 떨어진 곳에서 아버지가 목회하시던 곳을 아버지가 천국가시고 물려받았다(선교세습??)고 합니다. 이런 선교세습은 환영해야죠.. 이번에 저희 교회와 일정이 맞지 않아서 같이 사역을 하지 못했는데 혹시 내년에는 같이 할수도...Missionary Lee and his family visited us today. He is one of our supporting missionaries. He lives about 20min from this church and he took over his parents ministry. We could not do ministry together this year due to schedule conflicts but maybe we could do ministry with him next year... 누가 브라질 선교사고 누가 미국에서 온 방문자인지....ㅋㅋㅋ길고 여러가지 나눌게 많았던 이곳에서의 주일이 지났습니다.Long Sunday at Manaus is over and it was long and there were many things to share.내일은 강변마을 교회라고 아마존 강가에 있는 교회를 방문하여 일일 VBS와 의료사역을 하게됩니다. 아침 7시에 출발하여야 하는데 아마도 오늘보다 더 긴 일정이 될수도 있을것 같네요..Tomorrow, we are visiting the church near the Amazon river and we have to ride a boat to get there. We will do one day of ministry of VBS and medical. Since it takes time, we are leaving again at 7am. 오늘 새벽에 도착해서 잠시 눈을 붙이고 9시에 일어나서 하루를 시작합니다.We started today at 9am after a quick sleep...먼 여행에 또 잠자는 시간이 부족하지만 주님이 주시는 힘으로 하루를 시작합니다.Everyone is tired after the long journey to get to Manaus and a short amount of sleep but we believe the Holy Spirit will give us strength to get through today!마나우스는 역시 상파울로 보다는 훨씬 덥네요.. 아침 9시에 이미 90도를 찍었습니다.. 선교사님이 지난주에 내린 비 때문에 온도가 평상시 보다 낮은거라고 합니다. 감사할일이네요Manaus is a much hotter place than Sao Paulo and it is already 90deg at 9am. Today's highest is 98deg, The missionary said that weather is better this week due to rain last week. Worship service and prayer time..날씨는 덥지만 세 팀으로 나누어 이곳 성도님들과 함께 한 시간정도 노방전도를 하는것에 대해서 선교사님의 설명을 듣고..Even though it was very hot, we divided our team into 3 teams and spent about an hour for street evangelism with the church members오토바이를 고치고 있는 형제들에게 전단지를 전달하는 팀들...같이 사진을 찍자고 하는데 흥쾌히 응해주네요.. They graciously accepted photoshoot request물고기를 사려고 하고 있는것이 아니라 전도지를 나누어주고 전도하고 있는 모습입니다.We are not buying fish but inviting him to church..문을 열어주지는 않았지만 문 사이로 전도지를 전달하고 설명하는 교회 부목회자님과 팀원들..This house didn't open the gate but the team was be able to talk to them and hand out flyers..혹시 새누리 "강해용" 형제가 노방전도에 참여한 거 보이시나요? Has anyone noticedbrother Haeyong Kang from KM? ㅋㅋㅋ지나가는 차도 세우고 전도지를 전달하고... Even passing evangelism flyers to a moving car..노방전도를 하고 나서 느낀점은 두가지가 있는데요.. There are a couple of things we noticed during our street evangelism.하나는 이곳 사람들이 아주 호의적이라는 점입니다.  First is the hospitality of neighbors보통 전도지를 잘 받지 않으려고 하는게 보통인데(특히 미국의 경우), 이곳은 젋은 청년들도 전도지를 잘 받고 또 복음팔찌를 하나를 주면 몇개 더 달라고 하는 사람들도 있었습니다. Usually, people doesn't want to receive evangelism flyers(especially in US). However, none of people rejected flyers including young adults. Few of them asked for more evangelism bracelets.많은 선교지를 가 보았지만 이곳처럼 호의적이었던 곳은 드물었던것 같습니다. 그런면에서 좀더 전도자원이 확보된다면 이곳 교회가 이곳 주민들을 더 많이 주님께 인도 할수 있으리라 믿습니다.I have been to many mission places but this neighborhood is definitely different. I believe this church can lead many people to Jesus when they have more resources available to them.둘째는 아마존 교회 성도들의 적극적인 전도입니다. 저희와 같이 전도를 나간 이곳 성도 모두 적극적으로 전도에 임하는 것을 보았을때 이곳 교회의 앞날이 밝음을 느낄수 있었습니다.Second is the active evangelism of church member including youth. They all very active and talk to all of neighbors freely. Typically girls doesn't talk to young adult men but this church embers were different. This also gave me hope for the church!오늘 점심은 이 교회 성도님들이 준비해주신 브라질 음식과 과일....Today's lunch was prepared by church members. It was tasty Brazilian dishes.. 오후부터 시작된 VBS 시간.. Praise & worship team에 이곳 성도님 2명이 조인했습니다.VBS started in the afternoon.. 2 sisters from this church joined NCBC praise & worship team!이진환목사님이 오늘 아이들에게 말씀을 전하셨습니다.Today's sermon was given by Pastor Jin이곳의 많은 아이들이 결손가정이거나 아버지와 같이 살고 있지 않은 가정이 많다고합니다.The missionary said that many of children in this area doesn't live with father.자매들이 일찍 아이를 낳고 아이의 아빠가 일을 위해 떠나서 일년에 한번씩 정도만 보거나 , 여러 이유로 교도소에 있거나 아주 멀리 떠나버려서 엄마가 혼자 아이를 키우거나 할머니와 자라는 아이들이 많다고 합니다. There are many cases where young a couples have child at early age and the farther leave for work or in prison, or went away. Because of this, the mom or grand mother has to take care of kids themselves. 다행히 정부에서 그런 가정에 보조금이 나와서 최저 생활수준은 보장이 된다고 하네요.. 사랑이 많이 필요하고 특히 주님의 사랑이 많이 필요한것 같습니다.Fortunately, they get child support from the government and they can make enough to live. It seems they need a lot of love, especially Jesus's love!크래프트 시간은 장소가 마땅치안아서 교회당 바닥에서 그룹을 나누어서 진행했습니다. There are multiple groups for crafts but we had them all in the main sanctuary due to space limitations. 간식시간... Snack time..교회 소식의 운동장도 없고 또 날씨도 덥고..Even the games were done inside due to limited space..(No play ground...)아이를 기다리는 학부모들.. 이들도 복음을 같이 듣게 되는데 이들이 아직 주님을 모른다면 주님을 만나는 날이 속히 오기를 기도해봅니다.Parents are waiting for their children.. these parents will hear the Gospel, I hope they can come to Jesus.윗층에서 VBS 진행되고 있을때에 아래층에서는 의료선교사역이 진행되고 있습니다.VBS is upstairs and Medical team is located below and has air conditioning.진료를 받기 위해 기다리고 계시는 환자들... These patients are waiting to get checked out by the doctor.문삼렬자매님은 침을 놔주고 계십니다.. 윗옷을 벋고 진료를 받고 계셔서 더이상 잘 찍을수가 없네요.Sister Sam is helping with acupuncture, I could not get a good shot due to privacy 오늘은 환자가 많아서 의료팀이 환자들에게 기도를 많이 해주지 못하셨다고 안타까워 하네요.Today, there were many patients, so the medical team felt bad that they could not spent a lot of time praying for the patients.저녁 예배때는 팀원들을 위해 기도하는 시간을 많이 가졌습니다. We spent extra time praying for each other. 오늘 말씀중 손목사님은 우리가 이곳에 와 있는 목적을 잊지 않고 계속 리마인드 하는것이 중요함을 거듭 말씀하십니다.Also, Pastor Son reminded us that not to forget why we are here and exhausted us to remind each other.로마서 8장 26절-39절을 가지고 대적기도를 드렸습니다. We declared that "nothing can separate us from love in Christ"오후에는 이곳 성도님들과 축구를 하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 브라질과 한국의 친선 축구대결!! 결과는 잘 모르지만 대등한 경기를 펼친것 같습니다!We played soccer with church members(adults & youth). Friendly Match between Brazil and Korea!!! Not sure about score but I think we played well새누리교회 주일예배에 나눌 비디오를 보내는데 인터넷사정으로 머리를 맛대고 고민하시는 목사님들과 박정식 형제님. Pastor Son, Jin and brother Jungsik are trying to figure out how to send files to NCBC for Sunday's service.파일을 나누어서 카톡으로 하나씩 보내는 작업을 하고 있습니다. Dividing files into multiple files and sending them via Kakao seems to work but takes a long time...우리가 당연하게 생각하며 사용하는 인터넷도 선교지에 오면 쉽지 않습니다.Even a simple internet connection is challenging in the mission field.하루가 지났는데 아마존동산교회는 내일이 마지막날이네요.. Tomorrow is the last day at the Amazon mountain church.단 한명의 영혼도 중요시하시는 주님의 마음처럼 아이들 한명 한명, 환자 한명 한명을 주님을 대하듯 섬기고 사랑하고 치료하는 하루가 되기를 기도합니다.I pray that it will be a day where we serve, love, and treat each child and each patient as if we were the Lord, just as the Lord values ​​every single soul.좋은 휴식을 갖게 하신 주님께 감사드립니다.Thank you God for giving us good rest.승주찬! 

오늘은 상파울로에서 두번째 사역지인 마나우스로 이동하는 날입니다. 마나우스는 아마존 밀림의 중심도시라고 합니다.Today, we are moving to the City of Manaus which is near the Amazon forest비행기로 4시간 정도 걸리는 거리인네 이곳에서 잠시 둘러보는 시간을 가지고 밤 비행기로 이동합니다.It takes about 4 hours by plane. 상파울로 공항 Sao Paulo airport..셔틀로 비행기 탑승을 위해 이동.. 항상 에너지와 웃움이 넘치는 팀원들.. On the way to the airplane.. The team is always in high spirit!! 여기는 활주로로 바로 내려서 공항터미널 건물로 걸어가네요.. Walk through the runway on the way to the terminal building..항상 버스나 비행기를 탈때마다 성경암송구절을 마쳐야 쉬거나 잠을 잘수 있습니다.Whenever we are transport, there is an assignment to memorizing Bible verses.. Those who complete the assignment can sleep and rest..성구암송 검사를 받고 있는 승현형제... 빨리 받고 빨리자기 위해 경쟁도 있습니다!Bible memory verse check.. Brother David. Everyone is trying to complete it as soon as possible so they can sleep longer or rest!틈만 나면 눈을 붙입니다... 이들은 성구암송을 다 마치셨는지 모르겠네요...Getting sleep whenever we can is important.. Thank you!! 마나우스 공항에 도착했습니다. 짐들오 잘 도착하고요..We arrived at Manaus ! All of our luggage made it safely too!새벽 3시에 마중나오신 "지덕진 선교사님을 만났습니다.(손목사님 오른쪽에 계신 분). Missionary Ji was waiting for us at 3am!!문삼련자매님은 마나우스 사역만 참여하시기 위해 샌프란에서 마나우스로 직접 오셔서 팀과 조인했습니다. 원래 스케줄은 자매님이 1시간 반정도 늦게 도착하시는건데 저희가 상파울로에서 한시간 반정도 연착을 하게 되어 거의 같은 시간에 도착을 하게 되어서 한 버스를 같이 타고 가게 되어서 더 잘되었네요!!We met Sister "Sam" (person on bottom-hand-corner) at the Manaus airport. She is joining just this portion of the mission trip. She was going to arrive about an hour later then us but our flight got delayed by more than an hour so we end up arriving at about same time! This worked out well because we could go to the hotel in same bus.항상 에너지가 넘치는 팀원들... The team is always in high-spirit!새벽 3시 마나우스 거리.. 3am in Manaus..드디어 숙소에 도착해서 쳌인을 합니다... Finally we arrived at the hotel. 일정이 거의 첫날 도착하였을때와 비슷하게 되었네요. 새벽에 도착해서 조금 쉬고 점심식사후 사역시작..Today's schedule is about the same as the 1st day at Sao Paulo!! Arriving early morning and little bit of rest before we start ministry..이곳에서는 또 어떠한 놀라운 사역들이 펼쳐질지 기대가 됩니다.We are excited about God's plan for today!승주찬!!Praise the victorious Lord! 

목요일 아침입니다. Thursday morning!벌써 상파울로에서는 아쉬운 마지막 사역날이네요. It is the last ministry day in Sao Paulo오늘은 마지막날인 만큼 아쉬움없이 이들을 사랑하는 마음을 다 풀어주고자 다짐해봅니다. Since today is the last day, we don't want to have any regrets and we want to pour our heart out to these children.주님 나 자신을 먼저 사랑하게 해 주십시요.. Lord, please let me love myself first...아침 큐티시간에 이곳에서 같이 지내는 강아지도 같이 참여하고자 얼굴을 내미네요... 선교센터에서 자란 강아지라 나눔에도 관심(!)이 있는것 같네요!!One of the dogs in the mission center wants to join sharing time!! Maybe he is interested in sharing his story with us?어제는 비가 무척 많이 내렸습니다. 다행이 아침에 일어나니 비가 그치고 덕분에 날씨가 선선하여 VBS하기에 좋았습니다. 비로 미끄러워진 바닥을 청소하시는 손목사님과 정하자매님...There was heavy rain last night. However, the sky cleared in the morning and then was good weather for VBS. Pastor Son and Sister Joanne are cleaning the wet floor선교센터 주변은 아주 초록색으로 덮여있고 주변에 다른 빌딩이 별로 보이지 않아서 평안한 느낌입니다. The scenery around the mission center is very green and feels peaceful, without many buildings near by.어제와 마찬가지로 아침 8시 30분에 VBS를 시작합니다. 오늘은 Sin Chair Skit을 통하여 아이들에게 말씀을 전하였습니다.Just like yesterday, we started VBS at 8:30am. Today, after praise, Pastor Jin used the Sin Chair as the sermon"죄의 의자" 무언극을 통하여 세상의 그 어떤 모든것도 사람을 죄에서 구원할수 없고 오직 예수님만임을 거듭강조할수 있었습니다.Through the "Sin Chair" skit, we were be able to show Jesus is the only way to free us from sin!!오늘 오후에 VBS중 게임시간 대신에 태권도를 아이들에게 가르쳐주는 시간으로 진행했습니다. Afternoon's game time was replaced by TaeKwonDo session4-5세의 아이들임에도 태권도를 매우 좋아하고 열심히 참여하는 것을 보며 앞으로 태권도도 사역에 포함 시켜면 좋을것 같다는 의견을 나누었습니다. Despite being 4-5years old kids, they loved TaeKwondo,  paid great attention, and participated well. We talked about including TaeKwonDo ministry in NCBC's short term mission going forward.NCBC TaeKwonDo ministry team and team coach!오전 VBS를 마친후에는 근처 고등학교에 가서 "Sin Chair" Skit과 태권도를 하며 복음을 전할수 있었습니다. 원래 계획에는 없었던 사역인데 여기 교회 성도님이 이 공립고등학교에 연결이 되어서 와 달라는 요청을 받았습니다.고등학생 앞에서 어린이를 대상으로 준비한 것을 하는게 조금 조심스러웠지만 청소년들의 반응이 너무도 좋았습니다. 아무쪼록 한명이라도 Sin Chair와 태권도를 통하여 주님을 알게 되고 따르게 되는 변화가 일어나기를 기도합니다.고등학교는 교회에서 차로 10분정도 걸리는데 교회 주위의 환경을 볼 수 있는 기회가 되었습니다.차량이 부족해서 픽업트럭 뒤에 앉아서... 관심을 가지고 보는 고등학교 학생들.. 스킷이 끝난후 이진환 목사님이 스킷의 내용에 대해서 설명을 합니다. 예수님만이 우리를 죄에서 구원하여주실수 있다는 진실을 학생들에게 선포하였습니다!After the skit, Pastor Jin explained the skit and emphasized that Jesus is the only way to free us from sinTaeKwonDo demo..Having a little bit of fun on the way to High School.. VBS사역을 마치고 아이들을 위해 기도해주는 시간을 가졌습니다..  After the VBS ministry, we had a time of prayer for the children언제 다시 볼수있을지는 모르지만 이 아이들이 이곳에서 잘 양육되어서 이 지역과 이 나라를 주님의 사랑으로 섬길수 있게되기를 기도합니다. We don't know when we will see them again. However, we pray that these children will be brought up in a Christian way and become key people leading BrazilWith Hermon Kindergarten kids and teachers아이들이 집으로 가기전에 저희가 준비한 VBS선물 bag을 나누어 주고 아이들을 일일이 축복해주며 송별의 시간을 가졌습니다. 주님 이번에 뿌려진 씨앗이 잘 자라도록 도와주세요!이틀동안 통역으로 수고해주신 젊은 선교사님들과 또 이곳에서 사역하시는 두분의 선교사님들을 위해 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다.We had time of prayer for few of the young missionaries who helped us with translation and ministry. We will not see them again in this trip but.. Lord, please be with them and use them for your kingdom!Cindy 선교사님께서는 선교지에서 조금 느슨해졌던 마음이 새누리팀을 통하여 많은 도전과 은혜를 받으셨다고.. 그리고 팀원 몇분이 다시 오신다고 하셨다고 하네요.. 누군지는 저도???Missionary Cindy told us that she received a lot of grace and encouragement from the NCBC team.. She also mentioned that few of team members(not sure who??) promised to return next year!!이번 사역을 위해 많은 수고를 해 주신 두분의 선교사님들께 새누리의 정성을 담아 조그마한 감사(!)의 표시를 드리고..We thanked the two of missionaries and expressed our small appreciation on behalf of NCBC team이 사역지를 책임지고 계시는 "김혜란" 선교사님은 미국으로 선교보고차 출타중이어서 김영채, Cindy 선교사님 두분이서 이번 단기팀을 맞아 모든것을 준비하시고 도와주셨습니다.Missionary Haeran Kim is the main missionary but she is visiting the US right now so these two young missionaries are the one organized the ministry and helped our team이번에 의료선교팀은 3일동안 계속해서 아침 일찍부터 오후 늦게까지 환자들을 돌보고 기도해드렸습니다. 다음에는 더 많은 의사들이 함께 했으면 좋겠습니다.The medical mission team has been serving patients for last three days continuously from early morning till late afternoon. We hope more doctors can join next time.환자 한명 한명 치료하고 진심으로 기도해주는 의료선교팀… Not only helping each patient but also sincerely praying for them.이번 의료선교는 많은 환자들을 치료하는것보다 한분 한분에 더 많은 신경을 쓰고 또 치료후에는 그분들을 위해 모든 팀이 모여 같이 기도해드리는 의료선교입니다.In the Brazil Medical ministry, the team has been spending a lot of time praying for patients, even more than treating them.Brother Jiwon had a small cut after TaeKwonDo ministry.. He got treated by our medical mission team!어제에 이어 오늘도 브라질에서 사역하시는 손목사님의 지인목사님이 사역지를 방문해주셨습니다. There was another one of Pastor Son's acquaintances today. Lamp를 통해 우리가 부르는… 전능하신 나의주…. 남미 노래를 소개한 선교사님 박지웅 선교사님이십니다! Missionary Park translated many South American Gospel songs to Korean. One of the songs is a very popular songs in Korea called "Almighty my God"젊었었을때 손목사님이 찬양인도 사역자로 유명(!)하셨다네요...Pastor Son was a very famous(!) praise team leader when he was younger than now....오늘 저녁, 이곳에서 마지막 식사는 선교사님들이 저희팀을 위해서 바베큐를 준비해주셨습니다. 바베큐 그릴이 특이하네요..The missionaries treated us with Brazilian BBQ tonight.. They shared their testimony and we prayed for them라우렌다자매(손주가 4명인 할머니) 교회도 열심히 섬기시고 또 다른 결손 가정의 아이들도 같이 케어하시는 분입니다.Sister Laurenda takes care of 4 of her grand children but  at the same time helps a few of kids from other families. 이 할머니의 간증을 들으면서 눈물을 흘리지 않을수 없었습니다. 이 할머니의 섬김과 신앙 고백을 들을때 저희들의 신앙생활은 정말 부끄럽게 느껴질 정도였습니다. 어려운 환경에서 4명의 손자를 키우며(아들, 딸들이 자기의 자녀들을 돌보지 못하는 환경이기에..) 결손가정에서 자란 아이들을 섬기며 그들을 주님께 인도하기 위해 집에서 VBS를 할 정도의 삶을 살고 계십니다.When we heard her testimony, we could not stop crying.. It was very humbling because she doesn't have much but she has been dedicating her life to support children and lead them to Jesus. She even do VBS at her home for kids who can't go to church오늘은 감정이 오르락 내리락 하는 날이었던거 같습니다.There were many mixed emotion throughout today's ministry.VBS에 집중해서 배우려고 하는 유치원아이들을 보면서 격려가 많이 되었고 힘이 되었다면 저녁에 가정방문에서 만나 할머니의 간증은 우리의 신앙생활을 부끄럽게 느껴지게 하는 간증이었습니다.It was so good to see Kindergartener enjoy VBS and we were be able to share the bible directly. Also, it was very humbling to hear powerful testimony from the elder sister.100% 예수님을 믿지 못하고 세상과 예수님을 같이 믿고 사는 저의 모습을 돌아보는 계기가 된 하루였습니다.Today, I was able to look back on my spiritual life, where I don't 100% rely on Jesus.. 오늘 아침 손목사님의 말씀처럼 '하나님을 믿는 것이 하나님의 방법으로 믿어야지 우리의 방법으로 믿는게 아니다"라는 말씀이 다시 떠오릅니다.It reminds me of Pastor Son's message, when we say we follow Jesus, we have to follow His way not our way.내일은 새벽 4시 30분에 이곳을 출발하여 이지역을 돌아보고 상파울로 공항을 거쳐 아마존에 위치한 마나우스라는 도시로 이동하게 됩니다.Tomorrow, we have to leave this place at 4:30am to move to Manaus which is located near the Amazon forest. 내일의 일정과 마나우스에 잘 도착하도록 기도부탁드립니다.승주찬!Praise The Victorious Lord!P.S.> 내일은 마나우스라는 도시로 이동하는 관계로 선교소식을 올리지 못할것 같습니다. 토요일에 다시 뵙겠습니다.The internet situation in Manaus might not be as good as Sao Paulo so I am not sure if I can update the ministry daily. Today is Wednesday!이곳은 유치원도 8시에 시작을 하기에 저희도 8시 30분 부터 시작될 VBS와 의료사역을 위해 아침 일찍 하루를 시작합니다.Kindergarten starts at 8am so we had to start early to be ready for VBS and medical ministry which starts at 8:30am 새벽 6시 30분(캘리포니아 시간으로는 2시 30분)에 큐티로 하루를 시작합니다. We started Today's QT at 6:30am (2:30am in California time)!오늘 주신 말씀을 나누며 특히 "사랑".. 주님이 맡기신 이곳 아이들을 사랑하는 마음을 저희 모두에게 주소서 기도합니다..We shared today's QT message, especially "Jesus's love". Today, he was using a puppet show and live demos with team members..이목사님이 신뢰에 대해서 형제님들을 통하여 설명하십니다. He is demonstrating "trust".. We can all trust Jesus학교 운동장에서 하는 운동시간... Game time was at the play ground..게비자매가 아이들 크래프트를 도와주고 있습니다. Gabby is helping children with Craft ..의료팀에게 치료를 받기위해 기다리는 환자들을 기도해 주고 계시는 장정하자매님과 산하 형제님Sister Joanne and brother Sanha are praying for patients who are waiting to be served by our medical team.오늘도 의료팀은 하루 종일 환자를 섬기시는데 장미옥자매님 혼자서 환자를 진료하시느라 고생이 많으시네요.. 더 많은 의사분들이 조인하셨었으면 좋았을텐데요..Today, the medical team served patients all day. Dr. Jang was the only medical doctor and she didn't have much break all day. It would've been great to have more doctors join on this trip.저녁 7시에 수요기도회가 있는 날입니다. At 7pm, there is Wednesday prayer service here.오늘은 처음 시작 찬양을 제외한 모든 순서를 저희 단기팀이 맡아서 이곳 성도님들과 같이 예배를 드렸습니다.Today, the NCBC team joined the service and worshiped together with local believers. 시작 찬양을 너무도 은혜스럽게 드리는 이곳 찬양팀.. Local praise team led wonderful and graceful praise..이분들이 드리는 찬양으로 인해 우리팀도 많은 은혜를 받았습니다.We were blessed by their songs.. Even though they didn't have many instruments, their praise song was so powerful and amazing시작찬양후에 이곳 목사님이 저희 팀을 소개시켜주시고 남은 모든 에배 순서를 저희에게 맡기셨습니다.After opening praise, they welcomed us and they let us to lead the rest of the service"죄 의자"라는 연극을 통해서 예수님만이 우리를 죄에서 구원해주실수 있음을 이곳 성도님들과 같이 나누었습니다. We started with "Sin Chair" Skit and showed that Jesus is the only way to save us from sin!이 특별예배를 위하여 팀이 찬양곡 2개를 현지어인 포르투갈어로 연습하여 불렀습니다. 저희의 발음이 좀 어색하였겠지만 좋으신 하나님을 찬양하고 또 주님께로 가까이 하고 싶은 마음은 저희들이나 이분들도 같은 마음이라 믿습니다.The team shared two songs with them. The 1st song  was "Draw me close" and the 2nd song  was "God is so good". We sang this with three different languages(Korean, English and Portuguese)새누리 태권도 시범단(!)의 태권도 시범... performance by NCBC Taekwondo exhibition team(!)그리고 4 복음서에서 말하는 예수님의 일생을 스킷으로 담은 "Life of Jesus" 스킷을 통해 우리의 구원자이신 예수님을 찬양드렸습니다."Life of Jesus" skit 오늘 말씀은 손목사님이 전해주셨습니다. 주님을 믿는다는 뜻이 진정으로 무엇인지.. 말로만이 아니라 행동으로 보이는 믿음을 강조하셨습니다.Pastor Son delivered today's sermon.. He emphasized the true meaning of "believe".. it is not just saying in words but it is important to follow through with actions.설교후에 손목사님의 인도로 "내 안에 있는 예수님이 당신을 사랑하십니다." 찬양을 부르며 서로를 위해 기도해주는 시간을 가졌습니다.After the sermon, we had a time of prayer for each other.. This is after the "Jesus in me" song, just like yesterday예배후에 성도님들과.. Everyone together after service!자매님들방에 벌레가 너무 많아서 "전자 파리채"로 벌레를 열심히 잡고 계시는 두분들.. 형제들이 어제 외벽 페인트를 하고 창문을 너무 오래 열어놓아서 그렇다고 합니다.There were so many bugs in the sister's sleeping area and they had to catch them using "electric fly flapper"This was due to the open windows that brothers didn't close after yesterday's painting.. 손목사님과 오랫동안 지인이시고 이번 브라질선교를 있게 하신 김용식목사님과 사모님입니다. Pastor Son had known Pastor Kim(Yongsik) and his wife for long time. They visited us today작년에 은퇴를 하시고 이번에 상파울로와 마나우스에서 사역하시는 선교사님들을 소개해주셨다고 합니다. Pastor Kim was the one who introduce the current Brazil missionaries to NCBC오늘은 하루 종일 많은 사역을 통해 많은 영혼들을 만나고 기도해주는 시간도 많이 가진 날이었습니다. Today, we met many people and spent a lot of time praying for those people.그러다 보니 찍은 사진이 많아서 글을 올리기 위하여 줄이는데 어려움이 많았던 하루였습니다. There are so many pictures with many stories so it was difficult to reduce the number of pictures for this post.이곳에서 이루어지고 있는 놀라운 주님의 은혜와 사랑을 몇 사진으로 표현하지 못하지만 저희를 포함한 많은 분들이 큰 은혜를 받은 날이었던것 같습니다.It is not possible to explain all the wonderful things happening in Brazil with a few pictures but many people received the grace of Lord Jesus. I hope that many people's life are renewed and transformed because of what happened today.내일도 더 풍성한 주님의 사랑과 은혜를 기대하며 마무리합니다.I expect the greater things with the help of Jesus's love and grace tomorrow상파울로에서도 승리하신 주님을 찬양합니다! 어제 아니 오늘 새벽에 사역지에 도착해서 잠시 눈을 붙이고 오늘 하루 사역을 시작합니다. Since we arrived early in the morning, everyone had a short sleep before starting today's ministry사역첫날이지만 여러가지 사역들이 저희 팀을 기다리고 있어서 아주 바쁜하루였습니다. This is the 1st day of ministry but there are many things waiting for us. It was a busy day오늘 새벽 깜깜한데 도착해서 상파울로 사역지 사진을 찍지 못했는데요.. 여기는 브라질 상파울로 외곽에 위치한 곳으로 교회, 유치원 그리고 선교관이 같이 있는곳입니다..I could not take pictures of this place this morning because we arrived so early and it was dark. In the outskirt of Sao Paolo, there is the church, kindergarten and mission center in same location.제일 뒤쪽에 위치한 건물이 선교관. .자매들의 숙소가 선교관에 있고요. The mission center is in the far back and that is where the sisters are staying at night여기가 유치원 건물이고요.. 형제들은 학교의 교실 한군데를 숙소로 사용하고 있고요. This is the kindergarten building.. The brothers are sleeping in this building in one of the unused class rooms.이 건물이 교회건물입니다.. 헤르몬 복음 선교 장로교회... This is the church building.. 이곳분들은 Green Color를 매우 좋아하는 것 같습니다.. 브라질 국기에도 Green이 있지만.. Everywhere is "Green".. they must love "green"아침큐티는 교회에서 가졌습니다. Today's QT was done in church오늘 손목사님이 강조하신 이야기는 사랑에 대한 것입니다. Pastor Son emphasized "love" in today's QT그리스도의 사랑때문에 우리가 이곳에 있고 "예수님의 사랑"이 우리의 가장 큰 무기이다! He said that we are here because of Jesus's love and Jesus's love is the greatest weapon for the Christian.서로 사랑하고 또 그리스도의 사랑을 이곳의 영혼들에게 전하는것을 강조하셨습니다.. We have to love each other and we need to spread Jesus's love in this place가장 먼저 우리가 해야 하는것.. 서로 보고 웃고 겪려해주는것.. 억지로가 아니라 마음에서 나와서 웃음으로 대하고 사랑해야함을 말씀하셨습니다.. 오늘부터 웃는 연습에 들어갑니다!One of things we can do easily is "smile" at each other whenever we see each other and also encourage each other.. This should come out naturally, and not be forced.. We started practicing to "smile"이곳에서 식사는 우리 팀처럼 많은 인원이 들어갈 공간이 없어서 선교과 건물밖에 있는 공간에서 식사를 합니다.. 아침은 바나나와 빵으로..This place doesn't have large enough dining room so we have been eating outside.. Today a breakfast is Banana and Bread. 오늘 가장 먼저 할일은 가져온 짐을 정리하는 것이었습니다. First thing we did today was unpack and organize items we brought for ministryVBS는 내일 부터이지만 의료 사역은 오늘 부터 시작을 하기에 가져온 모든 짐을 풀고 정리하는데 모두 같이 참여합니다.Even though we start VBS tomorrow, medical ministry starts today so we have to organize medical items immediately.   오늘 의료사역을 담당할 의료팀입니다... Today's medical mission team members!! 의료팀은 치료 뿐만아니라 환자를 위해 기도해 드리고 복음도 나눕니다!! Our medical ministry team is not only helping patients with medicine but also through prayers and sharing God's love 의료팀과 VBS 장식팀을 제외한 형제, 자매들은 거의 대부분 페인팅 사역에 참여했습니다.Other than the Medical ministry team and VBS team, everyone else participated in the  "painting" ministry선교관의 외벽의 페인트가 너무 오래되어서 새단장이 필요했었는데 엄두를 못내고 있다가 이번에 새누리 단기팀이 오게 되어 많은 도움이 되었다고 하시네요... The mission center outside was in a very bad condition and needed a new paint job. The missionary was so happy that the NCBC team supported painting the mission center 윗쪽은 이층 숙소에 들어가서 창문을 통해서 칠하는 형제님들... Painting the 2nd floor wall was done through the windows upstairs.. 손목사님과 이진환 목사님도 참여.. Pastor Son and Jin also helped a lot.. 90도가 넘는 더운 날씨였지만 많은 분들의 도움으로 깨끗하게 페인트된 건물을 보니 마음까지 시원합니다!Today was pretty hot day but we were able to finish the painting job페인트작업은 마무리가 또 중요하죠.. 바닥에 떨어진 페인트로 깍아내고 갈아내는 작업까지..As always, finishing neatly is important.. We have to scrub floor to remove paint on the pavement새누리교회에 페인트 사업을 하시는 분들도 여러분 계신데 앞으로 페인트하는 단기선교도 고려해 보면 어떻겠나하는 의견도 있었습니다. There are many people in NCBC who are really good with painting. We discussed if NCBC can create short term mission for paint ministry.그리고 또 페인트 사역이 있으면 페인트 기술자들에게 사전 교육과 훈련을 받고 오면 좋겠다라는 의견도 있었구요.. Also, there were suggestion that we could get trained by professional for painting before our trip.. We can consider that next time when we need to paint.이진환목사님 선블락을 너무 발라서 하얀얼굴이었는데 사진으로는 잘 알수 없네요.. 많이 웃긴 모습이었는데..Pastor Jin put so much sunblock on that his face was white.. Too bad that picture doesn't show it well.. 오늘 새벽에 도착하여 잠을 잘 못잔 자매님들 교회에서 단 꿀 낮잠을 주무시고 계시네요... 다른 분들은 다들 밖에서 바쁘게 사역하고 계신데.... ㅎㅎㅎWe arrived in the early morning today and many of the team members couldn't go to bed so they needed some nap time.. even though many others are working hard outside ㅎㅎㅎㅎ오늘의 점심은 브라질에서 가장 흔하다는 돼지고기 요리.. 돼지고기를 팥에 요리한 특이한 요리인데 노예들이 많이 먹었다고 하네요.. 순대고기가 든 팥죽이라고 할까?? Today's lunch menu was one of the most popular Brazilian lunch. It is pork leftover meat cooked in red bean stew(?).. This came from food slaves ate long ago. It was like "Soondae in red bean soup. 자매님들은 별로 선호하지 않는것 같습니다. I don't think the sisters liked this 식사후에 설거지를 하시는 샤부리나 자매님,,, 즐겁고 행복한 모습으로 dish를 wash 하고 계십니다!Sister Sabrina seems so happy washing dishes.. Thank you!!VBS 팀은 유치원과 교회 건물 둘다 장식해야 했습니다. 내일은 수요예배가 있는 날이어서 이곳 성도들과 같이 예배를 드리게 되며 저희팀이 여러가지 순서를 맡았습니다.VBS Decoration team.. They had to decorate both the inside church and also the school area, because there is Wednesday service and we will worship together with local brothers and sistors. We are also sharing our special songs and skits 데이코레이션이 끝난후에 내일 있을 VBS위해서 연습을 하고 있습니다.After decoration, they are practicing the VBS worship songs and dance저녁시간에는 내일부터 있을 VBS에 통역으로 수고해주실 분들이 같이 조인하셨습니다. 세분이 조인하셨는데 젊은 선교사님들 이셔서 VBS를 잘 도와주실것 같습니다.Today's dinner, few guests who will help us with translation joined. All the guests are missionaries and they will be tremendous help for VBS tomorrow. 사역을 다 마치고 저녁예배 시간에는 기도의 시간을 더 많이 가졌습니다.We spent a lot of time praying during evening service특히 내일 통역으로 수고해주실 젊은 선교사님들도 같이 조인하여서 예배와 기도의 시간을 가졌습니다.Especially, the three missionaries who were going to help with translation during VBS joined evening service 이곳에서 사역하시는 선교사님들을 위한 특별한 기도의 시간을 통하여 주님께서 이들의 헌신을 귀하게 쓰시기를 기도드렸습니다.We had time of prayer for missionaries.. We prayed that Lord will be glorified through their devotion and service 또 오늘 수고하신 "의료선교팀"을 위한 기도의 시간도 가지고 앞으로도 강건하게 계속 사역을 잘 감당하시길 기도드렸습니다.We also prayed for the "Medical mission team" 이분은 이곳 교회를 섬기시는 장로님의 아내이십니다.. 이분의 가정을 위해 특별한 기도의 시간도 가졌습니다!!We prayed for this church's elder's family 또 내일 부터 같이 사역할 모든 분들이 서로 더 잘 알고 또 주님안에서 사랑함을 고백하는(!) 시간도 가졌습니다. "Jesus in me loves you, Jesus in me loves"를 외쳤습니다!NCBC's famous "Jesus in me love you" prayer time.. 예배가 끝나고 "성경구절 암송"(빠질수 없죠...)도 끝나고 내일 VBS 위히 리허설을 하는 시간을 가졌습니다.태권도 시범... After service and prayer time, we spent time rehearsing the skits and Taekwondo for tomorrow's ministry.. Of course we had to pass the "Memory verse" test too.포르투갈어 특송연습.. practicing for Portuguese songs 그리고 두번의 스킷 연습을 하니 잠잘 시간이 지났네요.. After a couple of skit practices, it passed bed time(!) already..오늘은 정말 바쁘게 하루가 지나갔습니다. Today went by so quick내일은 아침 8시 반부터 VBS가 시작하기에 일찍 잠을 청해야 하지만 또 저희가 준비할 것들이 있기에 오늘도 일찍 자지는 못했는데 주님이 주시는 힘과 능력으로 내일 사역을 잘 감당할 수 있음을 믿어 의심치 않습니다!Tomorrow, VBS starts at 8:30am so we have to get some sleep and wake up early. 브라질 단기팀이 10월 22일 주일 저녁 10시에 교회에 모여서 출발했습니다.The Brazilian short-term mission team gathered at church at and departed 10pm on Sunday, October 22nd .손경일 담임목사님, 그리고 이진환 목사님을 비롯한 21명의 단기선교팀이 이번에 브라질의 3지역을 방문하여 그곳에서 사역하시는 선교사님과 동역하여 의료선교, VBS, 페이팅, 노방전도들의 사역을 할 예정입니다.A short-term mission team of 21 people, including Senior Pastor Son and Pastor Jin-hwan Lee, will visit three regions in Brazil and work together with missionaries for medical missions, VBS, prayer, and street evangelism.이번팀은 장년, 청년 그리고 영어권 형제 자매들이 같이 참여하였습니다. 여러 세대가 같이 하는 새누리교회의 단기선교의 특징중 하나입니다.In this trip, we have members from KM, young adults, EM. This is one of NCBC's short term mission unique characteristic. 새누리 교회에서는 처음으로 가는 지역이지만 모든것을 주관하시는 주님을 의지하며 믿음으로 출발합니다.Although this is the first area NCBC is going to Brazil, we start with faith, relying on the Lord who controls everything. 밤 늦은 시간이지만 단기팀뿐아니라 많은 성도님들이 나오셔서 기도해주시고 송별해 주셨습니다... 승주찬을 외치며!Many church members came out to support the mission team even though it was late at night.. Praise the Victorious Lord!샌프란 공항에서..At the SFO airport 샌프란 공항에서 비행기 탑승을 기다리며 새누리교회 단기선교의 특징중 하나인 성경구절 암송을 시작합니다.While waiting to board the plane at SFO Airport, we begin to memorize Bible verses, which is one of the characteristics of NCBC's short-term mission trip.단기선교는 단순히 선교가 아니라 훈련입니다.. 사역뿐만 아니라 매일 아침저녁으로 드리는 예배, 성경구절 암송 그리고 기도와 나눔의 시간을 통하여 팀원들이 서로 하나가 되어서 주님만을 보고 나아가게 되지요..Short-term missions are not simply missions, but training.. Through not only ministry, but also worship every morning and evening, memorization of Bible verses, and time of prayer and sharing, team members become one with each other and for their eyes only on the Lord. 첫 경유지인 파나마 공항에 도착했습니다.. We arrived at the Panama airport where we will be having a layover before going to Sao Paulo, Brazil모든것이 순조롭게 잘 도착하게 해주심에 감사기도를 드리고...  We thanked God for creating smooth travel and allowing us to arrive here safely without any issues 팀으로 나누어서 오늘 주신 말씀으로 큐티를 하며 이번 단기선교를 통하여 주님이 주신 마음을 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다..Divided into teams, we talked about today's word and had time to share the hearts that the Lord gave us through this short-term mission.이곳에서 5시간 동안 기다리며 성경구절 암송을 계속 연습합니다.. 비행기 탑승전까지 성경구절 3개를 다 암송해야한다는 손목사님의 엄명(!).While waiting here for 5 hours, we continued to practice reciting Bible verses. Paster Son's strict order is that we must memorize 3 Bible verses before boarding the plane (!).이 팀은 사람들이 많은 복잡한 곳에서 성경구절 암송와 나눔의 시간을 가지네요..This team spends time memorizing and sharing Bible verses in crowded places with many people.성경암송을 확인 받는 시간..Time to check the memory verse..암송확인에 이진환목사님께 더 많은 팀원들이 줄을 서있죠???? 이진환목사님이 조금 더 봐(!) 주시는 것 같습니다...ㅋㅋㅋThere are more team members lined up in from of Pastor Jin.. I think he is not as strict as Pastor Son..  이 형제님은 우리 단기 선교팀은 아니예요.. This brother is not our mission team member저희가 모여서 성경을 읽고 암송하는 것을 보고 궁금해서 무엇을 하냐고 해서 책자를 주었더니 열심히 읽고 있습니다. 꽤 오랫동안 처음부터 끝까지 다 읽으셨어요.. 나중에 이야기할 기회는 없었는데 이를 통해서 이 형제에게 주님을 향한 마음이 싹트기 시작하여지기를 기도합니다.When he saw us gathering to read and recite the Bible, he was curious and asked what we were doing. We gave him a booklet and he was reading it eagerly. It took quite a while for him to read everything from beginning to end. I didn't have a chance to talk to him later, but I pray that through this, his heart for the Lord will begin to sprout.자매님들은 포르투갈어 찬양을 연습하고 있습니다. 이번에 2곡을 현지 예배시간에 부를 예정입니다.Sisters are practicing Portuguese songs.. We are going to sing two Portuguese songs during worship service 브라질 상파울루로 오는 비행기안에서는 성경읽기 과제를 열심히 하는 형제 자매님들.. Brothers and sisters working hard on their Bible reading assignment on the plane to Sao Paulo, Brazil.  드리어 상파울로에 잘 도착했습니다.. 짐도 모두 다 도착했고 세관검사도 없이 모든것이 순조롭게 착착!!Finally, we arrived at Sao Paulo!! All of our luggage made it well and had no issue with customs!!  선교지로 이동하는 시간... 새벽 2시입니다... 샌프란을 출발한지 거의 24시간이 되었네요..ㅡoving to the mission field... it's 2 in the morning... Almost 24 hours since we left San Francisco 오늘은 바로 숙소를 배정받고 숙면의 시간을 가져 봅니다... . Sisters are in one room and brothers are in another room.. trying to get good sleep!!형제들은 학교 위층에 있는 빈 방에서 다 한꺼번에 자고.. 자매님들은 선교관에서 함께 계시고(잠자리가 어떤지 궁금하네요....) I'm wondering what the sistors' sleeping condition looks like. 이제 몇시간 휴식을 갖고 아침부터 하루 일정을 시작합니다. We will have a few hours of sleep before we start today's ministry주님 저희에게 짧지만 푹쉴수 있는 휴식을 허락하시고 조금 후에 있을 사역을 잘 감당할수 있도록 도와주세요!! Father God, please give us really good rest and help us be ready for today's ministry!!!저희가 항상 어디서나 외치는 "승주찬"으로 하루를 마침니다..We always praise our victorious Lord!

어제 모든 사역을 마치고 오늘은 이곳을 돌아 보는 시간을 가집니다.Ministry is over and we are going to go around city to understand Japan little bit..아침에 큐티를 마친후 서로에게 기도해주는 시간을 가졌습니다.This morning after the QT, we have time of prayers.. 먼저 어른들이 아이들에게 돌아가면서 기도를 해 주고.. 그 다음에는 아이들이 어른들을 돌아가며 기도해주었습니다.First adults prayed for each member of youth and then youth prayed for adults one by one.아이들로 부터 축복기도를 받는 것이 특별한(!) 기분이었습니다. 아이들과 어른들이 서로 기도해 주는 것이 일본 단기선교의 특징중의 하나인것 같습니다.It was special feeling that adults get blessed by youth.. This might be the one of unique theme in Japan mission because many of youth joined Japan mission trip레베카 전도사님의 아들인 제이든이 엄마를 위해 기도해 줍니다.Jayden is praying for his mom Pastor Rebecca..EM의 소냐자매의 딸인 아비가 엄마를 위해 기도해줍니다. 11살인 아비가 엄마를 위해서 기도를 해 준적이 있는지 모르지만 감정이 특별했으리라 믿습니다.Abby is praying for her mom Sonja. Abby is 11 years old and not sure she had chance to pray for her mom before but I'm sure they are feeling special moment..일본 선교팀 관례대로 팀 단체사진에 각자의 이름을 적은 사진을 목사님께 전달하였습니다. 목사님은 새누리 단기팀의 사진들을 왼쪽 아래에 있는것처럼 다 진열하시고 계시네요..As Tradition of Japan short team mission, we put our names around picture of VBS team and presented to Pastor Kim.목사님과 시부야교회를 위하여 기도를 해 드리느 시간.. 목사님께서는 2013년 부터 팬데믹때만 뺴고 거의 매년 일본으로 단기선교를 와주신 새누리교회에 감사하고 이교회와 지역에 큰 영향을 끼치고 있다고 내년에 꼭 또 와주시길 요청하셨습니다.Team prayed for Shibuya church and Pastor Kim. We prayed that Shibuya can be used to evangelize this area and throughout Torkyo.Pastor Kim thanked NCBC for coming to Japan since 2013 and he said that it has been huge impact to this church and this area.. He asked to return next year!!오늘 점심은 시부야교회 권사님이 대접해 주셨습니다. 아이들이 마음껏 먹은것 같습니다!Today's lunch was treated by one of Shibuya church's elder.. We ate a lot especially youth!팀이 18세 생일을 맞아서 축하해주었습니다! 18번째 생일을 선교지 일본에서 맞는 기분이 새롭고 평생에 남을 기억일것 같습니다. 하나님이 뭔가를 암시하는지도???We celebrated Tim's 18th birthday!  It is very special to have 18th birthday in Japan mission.. This might be something God is telling??은혜와 감사가 가득했던 2023년 일본 단기선교일지를 오늘로서 마무리합니다. 팀원들중, 일본에서 더 머무르는 분, 한국을 방문하시는 분들이 있어서 미국으로 돌아가는 날짜들은 조금씩 다른데 2주후 선교보고 떄 다시 뵙겠습니다!This will be last posting for Japan mission. We had blessed time and there are so many things to thankful for. Team members are returning to US in different dates and we will see again during mission report day시부야교회에서 마지막 저녁은 Tim이 부대찌게를 만들어서 팀원들을 대접했습니다. 올리비아가 도와주었고요.. 팀이 가을부터 대학을 시작하는데 대학가서도 음식은 걱정하지 않아도 되겠네요Timothy cooked "army soup" tonight!!! Tim is starting college and it looks like he can take care well.화요일 오후에 공항버스를 타러 가방을 끌고 10분정도를 걸어야 하는데 비가 온다고 해서 다들 걱정을 헀습니다. 그런데 지하에 있는 공항버스 정류장에 도착하자마자 폭우가 내려서 아무도 비를 맞지 않았습니다. 하나님이 저희를 위해서 비를 잠시 늦추신것 같습니다. 할렐루야!!Tuesday afternoon, we headed to Airport shuttle stop and forecast was rain.. We worried that we will be soaked because we had to walk to bus stop with all of luggage. Heavy rain started as SOON as we got inside bus stop! God held rain for us so we don't get wet. 세이교단 오고세 교회에서 주일을 맞습니다. Sunday in Seikyodan church!오늘도 모든것을 주님께 포커스 하며 몸과 마음을 온전히 주님께 드리는 주일이 되기를 기도합니다.We prayed that we continue to focus on Jesus and worship with our clean and complete heart교회 주변의 풍경입니다.. 한국 지방도시 기분이죠?Scenery around church.. It feels like we are in small town in Korea주일예배를 위하여 VBS를 위하여 장식했던 것들을 앞쪽만 떼어내고  예배당을 다시 예배를 위한 세팅으로 바꾸었습니다.. We had to remove our decoration from "front side" for Sunday's service and set everything for Sunday's worship setting주일예배 안내를 하시는 성도님.. Welcome desk..이 자매님이 이 교회를 50년가 섬기고 계신다고 합니다. 목사님과 전도사님과 함께.. 시간이 더 있었으면 이분께 교회역사에 대해서 알수 있는 좋은 기회였는데 아쉽네요This lady has been member of this church for 50 years! It could been good to hear from her about this church history and her testimony but we didn't have time주보에 저희가 VBS마치고 찍었던 사진을 넣어서 VBS에 때한 설명을 하셨네요.Our VBS picture and explanation are in Sunday news letter! 예배는 꼭 한국의 시골교회의 모습과 비슷합니다.오늘은 사모님이 처음으로 말씀을 전하는 주일이라고 합니다. 장훈목사님이 찬양인도를 하시네요.저희팀은 4명은 예배를 여기 성도님들과 같이 드리고 나머지는 아이들과 VBS하면서 드렸습니다.4 of us joined Sunday's worship service and rest of them continued VBS with children 예배시간 VBS 발표회를 통하여 배운 찬양과 율동을 성도님들께 알려드렸습니다.Presentation time.. Children showed what they learned...팀들의 특송시간.. Special song by NCBC team"더 원합니다(Jesus I'm in love with you)"라는 일본 찬양을 일본말로 성도님들과 함께 나누었는데 벅찬 감동이 밀려오는 것을 느낄수 있었고 성도님들도 따라하며 주님께 같은 고백을 드렸습니다. 새누리 성도님들께는 일본단기선교 발표때 보여드리겠습니다!.We shared Japanese song(Jesus I'm in love with you) in Japanese.. It was such awesome feeling and many of us had tears in our eyes. Many of congregation sang along with us. We explained relationship between Jesus and Peter where Peter betrayed Jesus but Jesus forgave him..주일 예배를 마친후에 본당을 다시 장식하고 VBS 오후 프로그램을 계속해서 진행했습니다.After Sunday worship service is over, we decorated main sanctuary again and continued rest of VBS program.이번 일본선교때는 예년보다 더 여러번 장식을 붙였다가 떼었다가 하게 되네요.. 다들 전문가가 되었습니다.In this year's Japan mission, we had to put decoration up and down several times. We became expert of put decoration up and down..창조 스킷을 아이들에게 보여주며 하나님이 세상을 창조하셨는데 우리가 죄를 지음으로 멀어지고 예수님의 보혈로 꺠끗해지며 주님을 영접하면 다시 깨끗하게 되는 성경스토리를 아이들에게 설명합니다. 이것은 나중에 하는 복음팔찌와도 연결이 됩니다.Creation Skit.. showing God created us but we sinned.. God sent Jesus to save us.  We can become God's child again by confessing our sin and accepting Jesus. This is also tied to "Evangelism bracelet" craft복음팔찌를 만들면서 다시한번 주님을 통한 구원을 설명하는 크래프트 시간Evangelism Bracelets.. We were be able to explain Salvation using color bracelet craft게임시간.. Game Time!주일예배를 마친 성도님들이 계속 남아서 아이들이 하는 것을 지켜보고 있습니다. 이중에는 이 교회를 다니지 않는 분들도 있습니다.Few of this church's member remained after Sunday service and watched. Also there are few who are not the member of this church발표시간, Presentation time레베카전도사님이 아이들에게 예수님에 대해서 더 알고 또 예수님을 따라 삶을 살고 싶은 사람은 손을 들라고 하니까 몇명의 아이들이 손을 들었습니다. 이 아이들이 이 교회를 통하여 잘 양육되고 교회를 섬기는 리더들이 될수 있기를 기도합니다.Pastor Rebecca asked children to raise hand if they wants to know more Jesus and follow him and few of them raised hands. Praying that these children will grow in this church and become leaders of this church in some day!아이들을 위한 축복의 기도시간..We had time of prayer blessing these children늦게까지 남아서 지켜보아주셨던 성도님, 그리고 학부모와 같이Few member of this church stayed till end.. Few parents as well. 이틀간 가까워진 아이들을 떠나야 하는 아쉬뭄이 많이 남습니다.We had good time with children and now we have to say "good bye"적은 인원이었기에 아이들과 아주 친밀하게 되었고 많은 것을 나눌수 있었습니다!Because there were less number of children, we really were be able to connect with them!이번에 통역으로 이쉬 전도사님이 많이 수고하여 주셨습니다. 이분을 완벽한 통역으로 아이들에게 복음을 더 깊이 전달할수 있었던것 같습니다.!We were such blessed to have Jr. pastor "Ishi Hide" with us in these VBS. He did all the translation for us and share our messages with children well because of him!마지막으로 이 교회와 목사님을 위해서 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 주님 이 교회를 귀하게 사용하셔서 이 지역을 복음화 하고 많은 성도들이 모여 주님께 예배드리는 교회가 되게 하여 주시옵소서!Finally, we prayed for this church and pastors. We prayed that God uses this church again and evangelize this area교회의 장식을 따 떼어네고 교회를 청소하고 다시 시부야교회로 돌아왔습니다.We had to remove all of decoration and clean up church and pack our stuff and back to Shibuya Church! Some of us had to use train to get back due to lack of cars늦은 시간이었지만 팀원전체가 서로 나누는 시간을 가졌습니다. 다들 아이들 한명 한명과 더 많은 시간을 보낼수 있어서 좋았고 또 일본선교에 대해서 새로운 생각을 가졌다는 분들도 있고... 모두 다시 올것 같은 기분입니다!We had time of sharing after got back to Shibuya Church! Everyone said they were blessed to have intimate relationship with children.. It seems most of us will return!짧은 시간이었지만 두지역에서 아주 다른 모양과 성격의 교회를 섬길수 있었습니다. 하나는 시내 중심가에서 일본에서는 꽤 크고 잘 자리를 잡고 있는 교회고 또 하나는 시골에서 다시 시작하고자 하는 젋은 교회인데 두 군데 다 주님께서 귀하게 사용하시고 계시는것 같습니다.In short period of time, we were be able to serve two different churches with two distinctive styles. One is in the middle of busy city and over 100 members(which is big in Japan), and the other in suburb area and very small.이 교회들이 일본에 부흥을 가져오는 데 귀하게 사용되기를 기도합니다.We prayed that Japan will witness revival of Christianity  이제 사역은 마치고 내일은 이지역을 둘러보는 시간을 갖고 화요일에 돌아갑니다.Our church ministries are over and we will have prayer walk time tomorrow. 세이교단 오고세 교회에서의 사역 첫날입니다.1st day at Christ Seikyodan ogose church...어제는 밤늦게 도착해서 교회건물을 제데로 보지 못했는데 전통적인 교회건물이네요.We could not see whole building last night because we arrived late.. Very nice church building교회는 60년 정도 되었다고 하는데 이 건물은 1982년에 지어진 건물이니 41년 되었네요.This church is about 60years old and this building was built in 1982 so 41 years old building.. It still looks decent shape시부야교회는 시내 한복판에 있는데 이 교회는 같은 동경이라도 외곽에 있어서 시골교회같은 분위기 입니다.Shibuya church is in the middle of Tokyo but this church seems near country side even though address says Tokyo.정리정돈을 잘하는 일본의 국민성(!)을 좀 알수 있는 여기 부엌의 사진입니다. 시부야교회도 비슷했던것 같습니다.Picture of church's kitchen wall.. It shows some of Japanese's personality of organizing well.아침 큐티시간..Morning devotion time.. 이 교회에서 여름성경학교를 하는것은 60년만데 처음이라고 하면 이를 통해서 교회가 주위에 많이 알려지고 부흥할수 있기를 소망하신다고 말씀하십니다.Pastor Jang told us that this is 1st time doing VBS in this church's 60 years history and he is hoping that many people around here will know this church vis VBS오늘 팀의 기도제목은 여름성경학교가 교회의 부흥에 도움이 되도록, 또 오늘 만나는 어린이와 부모들이 주님을 알게 되는 기회가 될수 있도록..We prayed that our VBS can help this church's revival and children, parents can learn about Jesus조쉬가 체격을 자랑하듯이 옷을 입어서 무안을 주는 조원들...We were making fun of Josh who didn't wear VBS T-shirts yet..이틀전에 시부야교회에서 사역후에 생각보다 아이들이 적게 와서 조금 안타깝고 실망스러운 마음을 표현했었는데 회개하고자 합니다. I like to repent my comment in last posting, which I expressed disappointment(!) because there were less than expected number of children인원이 적고 많음이 문제가 아닌데 큰 많은 인원이 온 것을 성공적인 사역이라고 생각하는 것이 잘못되었음을 꺠닫게 되었던것을 아침 큐티시간에 팀원들과 나누었습니다.We think the more is the better and it is successful when there are more than expected. However, it is not important how many.. I shared this with team during QT하나님은 상황에 따라 많은 아이들을 보내실때도 있고 또 적은 인원을 보낼때도 있지만 인원이 중요한것이 아닌데 세상적인 기준으로 생각하였던 실수를 범했습니다.God can send more people when necessary and also send less people when necessary. Number is not God's but it is from secular thinking.이번에는 오히려 적은 인원이었기때문에 아이들 한명, 한명에게 더 친밀하게 다가갈수 있었고 복음을 더 잘 나눌수 있었던것 같습니다.In Shibuya VBS,  we were be able to connect with children better because there were small number of children.이곳에서는 더 작은 인원을 예상하고 있는데 오히려 더 좋은 기회로 삼아서 아이들에게 더 많이 나눠야겠다고 다짐하고 하루를 시작합니다.In this church, it will be even less than Shibuya and this could be opportunities to be connected more deeply with childrenVBS 준비를 위한 단장을 마치고 이제 아이들을 받을 준비를 합니다! Decoration is done and ready to welcome children!VBS registration started!VBS를 시작하기전 아이들과 서로 알아가는 게임시간.. Icebreaker game!!찬양으로 시작합니다. We started with praise. In this trip, we use all 5 VBS songs왼쪽이 이 교회에서 사역하시는 "장훈" 목사님입니다. 아들이 세명이시고 사모님도 목사님으로 같이 사역하시고요.Left is pastor "Jang" and he has 3 sons including 6months old baby. His wife is also pastor serving in this church학부모님(할머님) 두분과 어머님이 아이들을 보며 즐거워하시네요..Parents and grand-parents stayed entire VBS sessions and they followed some of praise song motionsGame... 레베카 전도사님이 게임룰을 이용하여 오늘의 설교를 시작하셨습니다.Pastor Rebecca was using game rule as sermon topic... 게임에는 룰이 있고 룰은 게임을 만든사람이 만든것이고 룰을 지켜야지 게임을 잘 할수 있드시 우리의 삶도 우리를 만드신 하나님의 말씀(성경)을 따라서 살을떄 우리는 올바른 삶을 살수 있다는 내용이 이번 여름성경학교의 주제입니다.All of games have rule and have to follow to be good at it. Rules were created by game creator. Same thing applies to our life. We were created by God and we need to follow rule of God(Bible) to live correctly.. This is the main topic of this year's VBS주님의 말씀을 들고 나아가는 것을 상징하는 가방 크래프트. Jesus's Messenger bag.. It implies we are God's messenger아비가 거의 다 만들어주고 있는것 같은데요... Looks like Abby is making for him!점심은 일식으로!!Lunch is Japanese!!!오후 게임시간, Afternoon Game time!종이컵쌓기 게임.. 인내와 스피드가 필요한 게임입니다.Cup stacking team relay, it needs patience and speed빈백 색갈 바꾸기 게임..Bean bag flipping game.. Two teams are trying to flip bean bag to same color(Black or Red)배 만들기 크래프트.. 베드로와 고깃배를 상징하는 게임입니다.Boat craft.. It implies fisherman Peter첫날의 사역을 함께한 어린이들, 교회목사님들과 새누리 팀.Children, pastors and NCBC team..맨 왼쪽이 사모님이시고 맨 오른쪽이 장훈목사님이십니다. Right most is pastor Jang and left most is his wife who also is pastor장훈목사님 왼쪽분은 시부야교회에서 전도사로 시무하시는 "이시" 전도사님으로 이번에 통역을 하기위해 이 교회까지 오셨습니다. 2시간 번정도 되는 거리에 사신다고 합니다. Left of pastor Jang is Jr. pastor from Shibuya church. He came to help us with translation and he lives about 2 hour and half away from this church사역이 끝나고 청소를 해야 하는데 안젤라가 피곤해서 자느라고 일어나질 않네요.. Angela fell asleep right after ministry and we didn't wan to wake her up so had to go around her with vacuum machine저녁예배때는 이 교회가 이 지역에 굳건하게 자리잡고 이지역을 복음화 시키는데 귀하게 쓰임 받기를 위해 기도하였습니다.Tonight's service, we prayed for this church to be used as cornerstone of evangelism in this area.젊은 목사님 부부가 열정과 함께 교회의 부흥을 위해 많은 기도를 하고 있는데 우리 모두의 지속적인 기도와 관심이 필요할것 같습니다.Two young pastors in this church have been praying for revival of this church and we need to continue to pray for this church이곳 교회가 처음으로 하는 VBS여서 조심스럽게 시작하였는데 적은 인원이었지만 아이들이 집중해서 참여하는 것을 볼수 있었습니다.This is 1st time VBS in this church so we didn't know what to expect. However, children were engaged right away and have been focusing very well.앞으로 이 교회에서 어린이 사역을 활성화시켜서 교회를 부흥시킬수 있기를 기도합니다.내일은 주일예배와 함께 VBS가 계속됩니다.We are joining this church's Sunday service and also doing VBS same time.온전한 주일예배와 VBS가 아이들을 예배의 자리로 인도할수 있기를 기도합니다.Praying for Sunday services. 시부야 교회에서 VBS 이틀째이면서 마지막 VBS입니다. This is 2nd and also the last VBS at Shibuya Church.오늘은 아이들을 마지막으로 보는 만큼, 팀원들이 서로 하나가 되어서 더 신실하게 아이들을 섬길수 있게 해달라고 기도합니다.Today, as we see the children for the last time, we pray that our team members may become one and serve the children more faithfully오늘 새로 조인하신 VBS 도우미님들과 서로 소개하고 아이들에게 온전히 복음을 잘 전할수 있기를 기도하였습니다.There wee few new volunteers today so we introduce each other, and we prayed that we may be able to share the gospel wholeheartedly with children. cNCBC tea & Shibuya Church volunteers!어제에 수줍에 했던 아이들도 오늘은 더 잘 따라 합니다!The most of children were participated a lot better today than yesterday오리올 과자를 손을 대지 않고 먹기 게임.. 잘 안되네요 ^_^ 자신있게 나갔다고 꼴찌하고 돌아왔습니다. ㅋㅋEat Oriol without touching hands... We are praying that these children and parents meet Jesus someday!VBS에 참석한 아이들만 찰칵! Children only shot!이틀간 VBS를 함께한 아이들과 선생님들과 함께...Children and teachers!시부야교회에서 VBS 마치고 벽에 장식했던 데코레이션을 다 띠어서 차에 실고 두번째 교회인 Christ Seikyodanogose Church에 도착했을때는 9시가 거의 되었을 때 였습니다.After finishing VBS at Shibuya Church, we took down the decorations from the walls, packed them into the car, and arrived at the second church, Christ Seikyodanogose Church, around 9 o'clock이 교회는 이번이 처음으로 VBS하는 것이고 약 60여년 된 교회이지만 지금은 아주 소수의 성도들이 모여서 예배를 드리는데 이번에 VBS 통하여 교회의 큰 부흥을 기대한다고 목사님이 말씀하십니다.The pastor mentioned that this church, despite being around for about 60 years, is holding its first VBS this time. Currently, only a very small number of believers gather for worship. However, through this VBS, they are hopeful for a significant revival and growth in the church.내일 부터 VBS를 해야 하기에 바로 장식을 다시 해서 초스피드로 2시간만에 데코레이션을 완성하였습니다.VBS starts tomorrow morning so that we had to complete the decorations for the VBS tonight and we completed this in just 2 hours!데코레이션을 마친후 찬양과 예배를 드립니다.Even though it was late after finishing decoration, we could not stop for praise and worship!오늘을 돌아보며 나눔도 갖고 늦은 시간이었지만 주님의 주신 은혜에 감사가 넘치는 나눔의 시간이었습니다.We also had time of sharing and many team members thank to God for such wonderful time today!내일과 주일 이틀동안 이곳에서 VBS를 하게 됩니다.We are going to be here for next two days for VBS and Sunday worship교회 성도수가 적은 만큼 VBS 참석하는 아이들의 숫자도 아주 적을 것으로 예상을 하지만 그러기에 더 아이들에게 가까이 가서 복음을 잘 전할수 있는 기회가 되기도 합니다.Even though we will have small number of children, this will be good opportunity to share gospel with each of children more closely주님 아이들을 통하여 이 교회가 목사님이 기도하시는 바와 같이 크게 부흥하여 다시 예전처럼 많은 성도들이 주님을 찬양하고 예배하게 될수 있기를 기도합니다.We prayed that this is the chance for this church to be revived through this VBS and more people come to know and worship Jesus in this place승주찬! 오늘은 드디어 이틀간 준비한 VBS를 시작하는 날 입니다.Today is the 1st  VBS day we have been waiting for long time!아이들을 기다리며 설레이는 마음으로 하루를 시작하며 주님께 찬양과 기도를 드립니다.We started the day, praising and praying to the Lord, while waiting for the children with an excited heart, 오늘 아침의 큐티는 사도행전 15장 12절에서 29절 말씀입니다.This morning's devotion Bible verse is from Acts 15:12-29.사도행전 15장은 기독교역사에서  이방인의 구원에 대한 매우 중요한 결정은 하는 과정이 기록되어 있는 장입니다.The 15th chapter of Acts is a very important passage in Christian history, as it records the process of making a crucial decision regarding the salvation of the Gentiles이방인의 구원에 대한 논쟁을 사도들은 말씀에 근거하여 결정하는 것을 볼수 있습니다.We can see the resolution of the debate concerning the salvation of the Gentiles, based on the Scriptures.당시 사도들의 경험과 권위로 충분히 결정할수도 있었겠지만 말씀에 근거하여 중요한 결정을 하는것을 볼때 우리의 신앙생활에 있어서도 동일하게 적용되는것 같습니다. At that time, the apostles' experiences and authority could have been sufficient to make the decision, but Apostles made decision based on the Scriptures, it seems applicable to our own faith journey as well. 우리의 모든 결정이 우리의 경험과 생각에 의하지 않고 항상 말씀에 의지하는 훈련이 더 필요함을 느낌니다.We need to learn more to rely not solely on our experiences and thoughts but always on the Word of God for all our decisions.또 한가지 이번 일본단기선교에서 느끼는 점은 새누리교회의 CM, Youth 그리고 청년들의 신앙의 성숙도입니다.One other thing I noticed during this short-term mission trip to Japan is the maturity of faith among the members of NCBC Church, including CM, Youth, and young adults.조별 모임에서 어른과 아이들 섞어서 같이 나눔을 하는데 이들의 큐티 나눔의 깊이를 들으며 우리 아이들의 신앙의 성숙도 놀라며 앞으로 새누리의 장래를 걱정하지 않아도 되겠다라는 생각을 하게 됩니다!!During group gatherings, when adults and children come together to share and participate, hearing the depth of their heartfelt sharing and witnessing the maturity of faith in our children, I can't help but feel amazed. It makes me think that NCBC Church's future is in good hands as we move forward!VBS를 도와줄 일본인 선생님들과 먼저 만나 서로 소개하는 시간을 갖고 기도하는 시간을 가졌습니다.Many Japanese teachers will help us during VBS and we introduced each other and had a time of prayer together.시부야교회 현지 리더들도 있고 또 지금은 다른 교회를 섬기시는 분들도 계셨는데 멀리서 VBS를 섬기기 위해 오셔서 선생님겸 통역으로 수고해 주셨습니다.There were local leaders from Shibuya Church and also some individuals who are currently serving in other churches, but they came from afar to serve in VBS. They kindly worked as both teachers and interpreters for us.찬양과 율동으로 VBS를 시작합니다. We begin VBS with praise and dancing.이번에 팬데믹이후로 3년만에 처음으로 하는거라 조심스럽게 예년보다 훨씬 적은 인원만 등록을 받았다고 합니다.This is the first time since pandemic and it has been three years, so church cautiously planned with significantly fewer people compared to previous years.음향을 도와주시는 재일교포 자매님(This sister is Korean-Japanese and she helps with audio/video)오늘의 주제는 주님이 베드로를 부르고 또 베드로가 물위를 걷다가 빠지는 사건을 가지고 레베카전도사님이 말씀을 전하여 주셨습니다.Today's theme revolves around how the Lord called Peter and the incident where Peter walked on water but then began to sink. Pastor Rebecca delivered the message based on this event.첫날이라 영어로 자기 소개를 하는 것을 가르치고 발표하여 서로를 알아가는 시간들을 가졌습니다.Because it is 1st day, we had sessions where we taught and practiced introducing ourselves in English, followed by presentations to get to know each other.자기소개를 십자가 모양의 종이에 써서 발표하기위해 영어로 쓰고 있는 아이들.. Afterward, we had a brief time of sharing and fellowship.처음에는 수줍어했던 아이들이 시간이 지나며 잘 따라하고 즐거워하는 모습을 볼수 있었습니다.As time passed, we could see the children who were initially shy becoming more confident and enjoying themselves as they followed along저녁에 모여 예배와 나눔의 시간, sharing time after evening praise and service오늘 저녁 찬양인도는 청년부의 정우형제가 해주셨습니다. Jin from young adult led praise tonight내일 먼저 미국으로 떠나는 백진영자매님과 아들 루카스가 그동안의 짧은 사역에 대해서 느낀점을 나누어 주셨습니다.Jin and Lucas are leaving tomorrow to US and they gave us their thoughts and feeling about VBS자매님은 짧은 단기선교를 조인할까 말까 고민했었는데 오길 잘했다고 하셨고 또 일본의 영적인 어둠움에 대해서 안타까움을 말씀해 주셨습니다.Sister Jin shared that she hesitated joining Japan mission team because it will be very short for them but she said that she is glad they joined. Also she expressed her sadness about the spiritual darkness in Japan루카스는 전도지를 나누어 줄때 거부하는 일본 사람들이 처음에는 미웠지만 나중에는 정말 필요한것을 그들이 모르고 거부하는 것에 대해 마음이 아팠다는 놀라운(!) 간증을 했습니다. Lucas shared a remarkable testimony.. Initially, he felt frustrated by the Japanese people's refusal when offering gospel tracts. However, later on, he experienced heartache, realizing that they were rejecting something they truly needed without even knowing it. This was incredible testimony for 12 year old child!12살밖에 먹지 않은 아이로서 이렇게 느낄수 있음은 성령님이 깨닫게 해 주시지 않으면 힘들것 같습니다. To feel this way at only 12 years old, it seems this was Holy Spirit's guidance and revelation계속해서 루카스가 주님을 모르는 사람들을 보며 이런 마음을 유지할수 있기를 기도해 봅니다.I pray that Lucas can continue to maintain such a heart while looking at people who do not know Jesus서로를 위해 기도해주는 시간을 가지고 오늘도 늦게 하루를 마무리 합니다.We took time to pray for each other몸이 많이 지쳤지만 오늘 하루 짧지만 편안함을 허락해주시길 간절히 기도합니다.We also prayed that God will give us good rest tonight so we can fully recover일본에 도착하기전 부터 준비하고 계획했던 VBS 첫날을 마치고 나니 조금 아쉽고 안타까웠던 점들도 많았지만 오늘 하루를 귀하게 사용하셨을 주님께 감사기도를 드리지 않을수 없습니다.After completing the first day of VBS, which we had prepared and planned for since before arriving in Japan, there might have been some disappointments. However, I can't help but offer a prayer of gratitude to the Lord, as He have used this day meaningfully내일도 모든것을 주님께 맡기고 나아가고자 합니다. 주님 인도하여 주시옵소서.May we continue to entrust everything to the Lord and move forward with His guidance. May the Lord lead us and be with us.내일은 이곳에서 VBS를 마치고 이곳을 정리하고 한시간 정도 떨어진교회로 이동합니다.Tomorrow, we will conclude VBS at this location, clean up the place, and then move to a church about an hour away.짐도 다 챙기고 또 이곳에 장식했던 것들을 따 떼에서 그곳에 가서 다시 장식을 해야 하는 긴 일정인데 잘 마무리 할 수 있도록 기도부탁드립니다.Please pray for us that we can successfully finish well here, and pack our belongings, detaching decorations from this place, and then redecorating them at the new church.승리하신 주님을 찬양합니다.Praise The victorious Lord!
