1. New 6th Graders - We have welcomed our newly joined 6th graders to The WAY.  Each of our twelve 6th graders has been assigned with a big brother or sister to help them with their transition to our ministry.  

2. Membership Class - We offered our very first membership class to our students this Sunday.  In order to be a member of The WAY, students must take this membership class.  At the membership class we present the Gospel to assure the salvation of the students; share our vision and mission; introduce our ministry; and discuss the responsibilities as a member.  As a member of our youth ministry, students may join our student leadership and serve our ministry as a student leader.  Please encourage your child to attend our next membership class on Sunday, 10/5.

3. New Small Group Ministry - After a long summer recess we are launching new Sunday small groups on 9/15.  From the 8th to the 12 grade we have divided our students by gender and made two small groups from each gender.  These small groups will be led and cared by our four college/young adult teachers: Emily, Michelle, Will, and Peter.

The 6th and 7th grade will each be divided into two small groups, which are overseen by our student leadership from our high school students: Annabel, Carol, Richard, and Albert.  Please keep our small group ministry in your prayers.

4. New Sunday Schedule - With launching of the new small groups we have also changed our Sunday schedule.  Our small groups will meet from now on after lunch following our 2nd worship service.  Here's the new schedule:

    1st Worship Service:  9:30am ~ 10:30am

    2nd Worship Service:  11:30am ~ 12:45pm

    Lunch: 12:45pm ~ 1:20pm

    Small Group Ministry: 1:20pm ~ 2:20pm

5. Lunch Money - Our PTA is no longer collecting the lunch money from the parents.  Each student must bring $2 for their lunch.  Please remind yourself to give your child their lunch money before they join us for the worship service.  

6. Friday Nite Fellowship (FNF) - Our FNF will remain its current schedule and meet from 6:30pm to 9:30pm every Friday (except on the 5th Friday). 

7. Intercessory Prayer - We are looking for parents who have heart and passion for intercessory prayer for our Sunday worship service.  If you are interested, please contact Sister Jeeyoung Kim.  

Students must sign up with P.Jae or P.Jamie by this Thursday.  This is very important in order for us to arrange the ride and food.

Each student must bring $10.

We are meeting at the church at 9:30am and will leave from the church together.

We are having a lunch at the beach and will be back to the church around 4~5 pm.
