Dear Parents & teachers,

As you may have heard, we will be having a lock-in on October 20th for the 3rd, 4th & 5th graders.

The lock-in will start on Saturday at 4:00 PM and will end on Sunday the 21st after the 2nd session CM service at 1:00 PM. We are collecting $15 per child to help cover the cost of food. Please find attached a flyer regarding the Lock-in as well as the permission slip. Please note that the permission slip must accompany all attendees.


In hopes to make this lock-in a success, I will need some help from everyone in the following areas. Also, I am asking that all kids bring a reusable sport bottle to be used during the lock-in as we will not be buying bottled waters.

Things kids must bring to the Lock-In:

1. Bible

2. Pencil

3. Toiletries

4. Sleeping bag

5. Tennis Shoes (they will be running around a lot)

6. Reusable bottle for water

Volunteers needed:

1. 3 – 4 volunteers to help with scavenger hunt setup and game

2. 2 male teachers and 1 female teacher to sleepover at church with us.

3. 2 volunteers to help setup/prepare dinner & breakfast

4. Volunteers to help setup tents.

Supplies needed:

1. 3 large Tents

2. Donations of 5-8 gift cards for iTunes jamba juice or other kid friendly places to be used as prices ($3.00 each on the card or so…)

3. Rolls of toilet papers (24 rolls)

4. 3 Toaster Oven or toaster for breakfast bagel
