Happy Thursday~ Everyone!
Our kids are so precious!
Some of the kids were reading books, the story book (and other books), between the 1st and 2nd worship~
Please encourage them to read the story book or the Bible before they come to church on Sunday~^^
• 1st Session (Daniel Chapter 3)... Daniel's friends: Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego--from Judah--refused to bow down and worship the gold statue, the false god. King Nebuchadnezzar was angry and ordered to throw them into the fiery furnace. They fell into the furnace all tied up. But King Nebuchadnezzar saw four men walking around in the fire. They were not tied up, and they weren't hurt! The fourth man looked like an angel! Upon coming out they didn't even smell like they had been near a fire!
Only God could rescue Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from the fire. Jesus is the only One who can save us from our sin. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross provided the way for us to be rescued and have eternal life!
The kids and I played a game to rescue the three friends (with three balls). Three friends were together (we need to be together for our faith)! As a family of Faith Land, let's encourage each other and love one another~^^
• 2nd Session (Numbers 14:8)... "I have cared for you since the day you left Egypt, I have provided your food and quenched your thirst. I have protected you from all threat of danger. But still I yearn for your trust and your love. How long must I wait?" This is God's message for us from chapter 6 in The Story Book! Please don't forget to read chapter 7 for this Sunday~^^
•Announcements:
1. Missionary, Chris Kim was with us at AWANA last Friday and shared about his ministry in NK.
It was a blessing to hear that God loves all the people on this earth and that He wants to use us to spread the gospel!
We have been collecting offerings for NK through the AWANA Mission program and this Friday will be the last day! I humbly ask you and your kids to bring their hearts to AWANA tomorrow! Please continue to pray for NK and thank you so much for your help~
2. AWANA Training will be held this Saturday at Faith Chapel from 10am to 3pm. This is a mandatory meeting for the new parents (required only for members of the NCBC family) and the leaders who are interested. Also we have an appreciation lunch for the current leaders! We really need your prayers~^^
Did you look at the sky today? It was so blue and beautiful~ Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week with our Father!

파란 하늘이 너무나도 예쁜 목요일입니다~
지난 주일 1부와 2부사이, 잠깐의 시간동안 아이들은 예배를 위해 의자를 정리하고나서 The Story Book이나 개인이 읽고 있는 책들을 꺼내 읽고있는 모습이 너무 예뻐, 사진에 담아보았습니다. 얼마나 귀한 우리 아이들인지 모릅니다~^^
지난 주일 1부(다니엘서 3편)에서는 다니엘의 믿음의 친구들에 대하여 나누었습니다.
사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고는 바벨론의 왕인 느부갓네살이 세운 금신상에 절하지 않았습니다. 그로인해 극렬히 타는 풀무불에 던지워지지만 하나님은 그들을 구하여내시고 하나님의 이름만이 세 친구들로 인하여 찬송받게 하셨습니다.
오로지 하나님 아버지만이 다니엘의 세 친구를 구하실 수 있었습니다! 우리 죄를 위하여 죽으시고 다시 사셔서, 우리에게 영원한 생명을 허락하신 하나님의 아들, 예수님만이 우리의 구원자되심을 우리도 또한 믿어야 하겠습니다!
그리고 아이들과 공 세개를 가지고 다니엘의 친구들을 구하는 게임을 하였습니다. 아이들이 팀을 이루어 함께 하는 게임으로, 이 게임을 통하여 "함께 함!"의 의미를 이야기 해주었습니다. Faith Land의 가족의 일원으로 아이들이 서로를 사랑하며 다니엘의 세 친구처럼 믿음의 용기를 서로서로에게 북돋우어 주기를 간절히 기도합니다~^^
"이집트로부로 너희들을 구하여내고 먹을 것과 마실 물을 공급하며, 어려움과 위험에서 너희들을 지키고 있는 나, 여호와가 언제까지 너희들에게서 나를 향한 믿음과 사랑을 그리워하며 기다려야 하겠느냐!!" 라고 안타깝게 외치시는 하나님의 이 말씀이 2부(민수기 14:8)예배의 메시지입니다!
다음 주는 Chapter 7을 나눌 것입니다. 자녀들과 집에서 꼭 미리 읽으실 것을 다시 말씀드립니다~

1. 지난 금요일, 어와나에서는 크리스 김 선교사님께서 오셔서 NK에서의 사역을 아이들과 함께 나누어주셨습니다. 하나님은 그곳의 사람들과 우리 모두를 사랑하시고, 우리를 또한 전도와 선교를 위해 사용하시기 원하신다는 곳을 다시금 일깨워 주는 귀한 시간이었습니다. 지금 어와나에서는 지난 달부터 NK를 위한 선교모금을 하고 있습니다. 내일이면 마지막 주가 됩니다, 아이들이 사랑의 마음으로 헌금할 수 있도록 부모님들께서 도와주세요~^^
2. 새누리 교인들을 위한 어와나 교육이 부모님들과 선생님들을 위하여 오는 토요일(3/15), 오전 10시부터 오후 3시까지 Faith Chapel에서 있습니다. 이날에는 특별히 현재 수고하시는 선생님들을 위한 점심식사도 있을 계획입니다. 어와나를 위한 계속적인 기도를 부탁드리며 또한 어와나 교육에 많은 참여를 기다립니다!
