Hello Everyone,
It is raining today~
Hope you all enjoy the beautiful rainy day!^^
Here are the details of this past Sunday's messages:
• 1st Worship (Matthew 21:1-17)... I shared about Jesus' triumphal entry to Jerusalem with the kids! During Jesus' triumphal entry, the people welcomed Him as King. Jesus was the Messiah spoken about by the prophet Zechariah: "Look, your King is coming to you; He is righteous and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey" (Zechariah 9:9).
• 2nd Worship (Ruth 1:16)... The Story Book, Chapter 9 is about the beautiful woman, Ruth!
When a great famine came to the land of Israel, Naomi, her husband, and their two sons moved to the land of Moab. There the boys grew up and married two women from that foreign land. But years passed and Naomi's husband and sons died. Now the women were alone. Naomi told her daughter- in- laws to go back to their families. Orpah decided to follow Naomi's advice but Ruth wanted to go to Bethlehem with Naomi and she said that "Where you go, I'll go. where you stay, I'll stay. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God."
Finally Ruth met Boaz and married in Bethlehem. They had a son named Jesse and when Jesse grew up he had a son named David. Through king David many years later, Jesus was born!
All of us are like Ruth. Because of our sins we are outsiders. Without a redeemer we face death and the punishment for our sins. Jesus came to die in our place to pay for our debt of sin before God. He brought us back to be part if God's family and saved from sin for all eternity!

비가 오는 예쁜 날입니다~
지난 주일 (3/30)에는 1부 아이들에게는 부활절을 준비하는 메시지를 전하였습니다.
• 1부 예배 (마태복음 21:1-17)...예수님께서 예루살렘으로 입성하실 때에 사람들은 그를 왕으로 오시는 메시아로 환영하였습니다! 선지자 스가랴는 메시아에 대하여 이렇게 예언하였습니다. "보라 네 왕이 네게 임하나니 그는 공의로우시며 구원을 베풀며 겸손하셔서 나귀를 타나니 나귀의 작은 것 곧 나귀새끼니라" (스가랴 9:9).
• 2부 예배 (룻기 1:16)... 스토리 북, 제 9장에는 아름다운 이방 여인, 룻의 이야기가 나옵니다! 베들레헴 땅에 큰 흉년이 들었을때에 나오미와 그녀의 남편 그리고 두 아들은 모압지방으로 이사를 하였습니다. 두 아들은 그 곳에서 장성하여 혼인을 하고 행복한 날들이었지만, 수년후 남편과 두아들을 잃는 슬픔을 겪은 후 나오미는 두 며느리에게 가족들에게로 돌아갈 것을 권합니다. 며느리 오르바는 가족에게로 돌아가지만 룻은 "어머니께서 가시는 곳에 나도 가고, 어머니가 유숙하시는 곳에 나도 유숙하겠고, 어머니의 백성이 나의 백성이 되고, 어머니의 하나님이 나의 하나님이 되시리니!" 라고 고백하며 나오미를 따라 베들레헴으로 가게 됩니다.
마침내 그 곳에서 룻은 보아스를 만나 혼인을 하고 아들인 오벳을 낳습니다. 오벳은 장성하여 이새를 낳고 이새는 다윗왕을 낳습니다. 그리고 예수님께서 다윗왕의 후손으로 이땅에 오시게 됩니다!
우리는 모두 룻처럼 이방인입이다. 죄로 인하여 하나님의 가족이 될 수 없는 우리들이지만 우리를 위하여 죽으신 예수님으로 인하여 하나님의 가족이 되었고 영원한 생명을 얻게 되었습니다!
그런 주님을 깊게 묵상하는 4월이 되시기를 기도드립니다!
