Hi Parents, 

 

I wanted to remind you that the Operation Christmas Party packing party is tonight!  Please come prepared.  Below is the flier that was sent home with your kids last week.  

 

 

 

What: Operation Christmas Child 신발상자 파티

When: 2015년 11월 13일 어와나 

Who: Cubbies, Sparks, TnT

준비물: 학생당 $7, 신발상자에 들어갈 수 있는 장난감,  

          선물.  상자는  교회 제공

 

어와나 학부모님, 

 

안녕하세요. 올 해, 저희 어와나가 Samaritan’s Purse Organization을 통한 Operation Christmas Child라는 프로그램에 참여합니다. 이 프로그램을 통해서 선물이 들어있는 신발상자를 전세계의 도움이 필요한 어린이들에게 전달하게 됩니다. 이 상자는 선물 뿐만이 아니라 복음의 메세지와 지역 선교단체의 정보를 동시에 제공합니다. 우리의 작은 손길이 하니님께 크게 쓰여지고,  우리 아이들에게 우리보다 열악한 상황에 있는 사람들이 있음을 보여줄 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다. 

 

신발 상자 포장 행사를 잘 치루기 위해 여러분의 도움이 필요합니다. 아이들이 다음 준비물을 가져올 수 있게 도와주세요. 

• 선물 받을 아이의 성별과 연령 그룹을 결정해주세요: 2-4세, 5-9세, 10-14세
• 선택한 연령에 따른 선물을 가져와주세요: 예) 장난감, 연필, 크레용, 칫솔 등등. 총이나 전쟁 장난감은 피해주세요. 
• 한 아이당 $7 을 보내주세요-상자마다 요구되는 액수입니다.  
• 선물을 받게될 아이를 위해 기도해주세요.

가족단위로나 친구들과 함께 더 많은 상자를 채워서 기부하고 싶으신 분들은 교회로 11/23 월요일 1시까지 가져와주시면 됩니다.

                                 a shoebox.  Boxes will be provided.  

 

Hello Parents!

      It’s that time of the year again!  We will once again be participating in Samaritan’s Purse organization ‘s “Operation Christmas Child.”  It’s a program that allows you to pack shoeboxes full of gifts that will be given to needy children across the world.  Along with the gift, they are presented with the gospel message as well as an opportunity to join a follow-up discipleship program in their area.  It is our chance to do something small that God can use to do something big and great and a way our children can begin to open their eyes and hearts to others less fortunate.

     We need all of your help to make our packing party a success.  Here is what each child should prepare and bring to the event:

• Decide whether you would like to pack for a boy or a girl and what age group (2-4, 5-9, 10-14).
• Bring gifts for the age group you have picked (NEW toys, pencils, crayons, toothbrushes, socks etc.).  Please include fun things as well as necessities. No guns or war toys!
• Send in $7 per child for shipping and handling.

Pray for the child that will receive the box.
