Hello The WAY parents,
Happy Spring 2015!
We cannot believe that it's already mid March.
It is so true that no one can slow nor stop the ever passing time.
Time is one of the precious gifts from our God. We shall treasure it dearly and spend it wisely as we receive it graciously and gratefully.
We often find time to be too short and too little, especially in chasing after our own dreams and goals of life.
No wonder we encounter many challenges in finding time for God: to love Him, to worship Him, to enjoy Him, and to serve Him.
We pray for you and your family that God would give you much of His divine wisdom and strength to reap and sow your labor in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58
Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

*Please send your child to our FNF for time of sharing lives and relationship building.

Sunday Worship and Small Group Ministry
*We are in the middle of Unit 2 "Ready".
**Small Group Fellowship is from 1:15 to 2:15. Please encourage your child to participate in his or her small group.
Special Note to Parents
During next 3 Sundays starting this Sunday we are going to preach, study, and discuss on following three topics:
1) Sex
2) Homosexuality
3) Pornography
These topics are very gender and age sensitive so we are going to make some appropriate changes to our Sunday small groups.
1) For the middle school students:
PJamie will be in charge of all the girls whereas PJae will be in charge of all the boys.
2) For the high school students:
They are already divided by their gender and grade where Teacher Emily and Michelle will be in charge of the girls and Teacher Will and Jacob will be in charge of the boys.
The high school students who are serving as Sunday small group leaders will join their respective groups.
Please be advised that the lesson materials we are using for above topics are straightly from our current curriculum which is published by our denomination affiliated Christian resource company (Lifeway Christian Resources).
In addition, since both of us need to be with the students during the small group time we need someone to watch over Manny.
If anyone is available and willing to take care of Manny during the small group time (from 1:15 to 2:15) for next three Sundays, please let us know.

3/29 - Small Group - "Ready When Pornography Controls" 1 Thessalonians 4
Youth Special Events
1) Mission Night 2015 (sponsored by InterCP)

2) Interschool Praise Night
- organized and led by the Christian Clubs from local high schools (Gunn, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Mountain View, Saratoga, Lynbrook, Menlo Atherton, and more)
Date: Saturday 3/21 @ 6~10 pm
Place: New Community Baptist Church
Who: any high school and middle school students
*Students must arrange their own rides for both events.
Road to Discipleship (R2DII) (제자양육)

- 8 students (2 from the 7th, 1 from the 8th, 4 from the 9th, 1 from the 11th)

Road to Damascus (R2DI) The WAY Membership Class
We are offering our membership class for our students every first Sunday/Saturday of the month.
Living Life and Sena subscription for 2015
Please encourage your children to spend a daily devotional time through God's word.
Our student leaders go through Living Life/Sena.
*If your child is in our student leadership, please send the subscription fee of $30.
**Many of them haven't submitted the payment yet.
If you'd like to subscribe Living Life (recommended for high school and above) and Sena (recommended for middle schoolers), please sign up with us ASAP along with a 6-month subscription fee of $30.
Easter Sunday Baptism
There is going to be a time of baptism during the Easter Sunday Worship (4/5).
Please let us know if your child would like to be baptized.
