http://news.nationalpost.com/news/religion/vitriol-among-united-church-members-as-atheist-minister-closer-to-being-dismissed-in-formal-hearing   United Church of Canada (UCC) is supposed to be a reformed prebysterian church denomination that formed by merging Methodist, Presbyterian, and other denominations with 600,000 members.   This supposed reformed Presbyterian denomination allowed someone to pastor and teach the body of Christ who stopped using "the word "God" in her ministry because it was a barrier to participation in the church."  The word "God" should fill Christians with awe, adoration, and fear, but to her, it was a hindrance to "accomodating members".  Many protestant churches have removed the word "repent" from usage, so we can be "more loving and more accomodating to so called seekers" than Jesus Christ who began his ministry with "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand (Matt. 4:4)". Now, some are removing Jesus Christ, our God, from the church altogether.   I can understand that this is an isolated incident and UCC is taking actions, but I find their statement more offensive and dangerous. They states "In our opinion, she is not suitable to continue in ordained ministry because she does not believe in God, Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit.".  "Opinion?... Bible is the revealed truth from God.  What abomination is this to treat God's word as an "opinion".  It is the objective TRUTH!!!    Are we living in times where Christian pastors are not required for be convicted and instill conviction to sheeps that they are one body in Jesus Christ and that we live in Christ now?  Did we miss another God-breathed book somewhere that somehow overturned unchanging word of God in 1 Sam 15:22 that states "it is better to obey than to sacrifice"?  How much are we willing to compromise the core Christian principles to follow the Hollywood definition of love?   "Hell is full of good wishes or desires"  -Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (one of the my heroes)

오늘부터 시작되는 컴패선 체험 주간에 사용될 체험관을 설치되었습니다.  이른 시간부터 수고해주신 형제/자매님들의 봉사의 손길 덕에 효율적으로 잘 설치할 수 있습니다.  이제 이 체험관을 견학을 통해 우리가 하나님께서 얼만나 많은 것을 누리게 하셨는지, 그리고 동시에 우리가 그 받은 것을 어떻게 나눌 수 있는지 생각해 볼 수 있을 줄 믿습니다.  아울러 이번 돌아오는 주일에 도움이 필요한 아이들을 후원함에 동참해주시기 바랍니다.  수고해주신 모든 분들께 감사드립니다.

화창 (했었는데 떠날때쯤 해무가....)한 가을, 토요일 오후, 클래시스 목장+ 에서 피크닉을 다녀왔습니다.  

새누리 태권도가 2016 가을시즌이 시작되었습니다.  많은 아이들과 성도님들이 등록해서, 열기가 뜨겁게 시작되었습니다.  이 귀한 사역은 함께 동역하면서 진행되고 있습니다. 3:30에 모두 함께 모여 친교실을 깨끗하게 정돈하여 태권도 수련을 할 수 있도록 준비하고, 또 끝나면 깨끗하게 치우는 일까지 모두 스스로 자원해서 하는 일입니다. 또한 사범님들과 도움을 주는 유단자들도 모두 자원해서 돕고 있습니다.  태권도 사역을 통해 우리의 몸과 정신 또한 주님안에서 건강해 질 줄 믿습니다.

This article articulates two divergent paths that two children mercy mission organizations took with the same origin.   China Children's Fund that became ChildFund began with deep Christian convictions to serve Jesus Christ through sponsoring needy children in China, but ultimately abandoned it's Christian origin.  Compassional International is still firmly planted in the Christian doctrine and have not forgotten that it's roots.  It has not forgotten that it is the grace of God that strengthens and counsels us to have true mercy to the fallen and destitute children.   We see the same pattern with World Vision and Samaritan's Purse.  World Vision that my family supported for a long time by recommendation of a liberal pastor never came back to Christ-centered mission and is an open supportor of same-sex marriage.  While Samaritan's Purse although had struggles, but came back it's original purpose in honoring Christ my Lord and my God.   I am overjoyed to hear Saenuri's direction to Compassion International since it still submits to God's providence.  I ponder, can a true Christian openly serve and support organizations that forgotten and rejected the name of Jesus Christ as the source salvation, mercy and mission, instead treating the name of Jesus Christ to be nothing more than means to get more funding?   http://www.patheos.com/blogs/philosophicalfragments/2014/02/24/a-tale-of-two-presbyterian-ministers-mission-drift-at-the-worlds-first-child-sponsorship-organization/

We had a wonderful start to a new school year. As we expect our kids to grow as they learn many new things at school, we also wantto kick our spiritual growth into high gear.     As we sent up the graduates to the youth, we welcomed these fresh new faces into Faithland.  They are full of energy and excited to be with the big kids.     Our "service team" made up of the new 5th graders have started training as they serve to create their own worship by setting up chairs, cleaning, running media and skits.  They have been waiting so long for this!

  매달 첫번째 주일, 점심 식사후에 오후 2시부터, Hope Chapel에서 청년 공동체에서 모여서, 짧게 한시간 정도 찬양예배의 시간을 가집니다. :-) 이번달에는 긴 연휴가 있어서, 많은 분들이 참석하지 못하였지만, 그래도 함께 모여서, 찬양하며 예배하는 시간은 참 소중한 것 같습니다.   마음이 청년이신 분들은 누구나 환영입니다! :-)

On August 28th, 2016, we had the largest incoming 6th graders into YM The WAY!  It is a big change for them.  And all of YM welcome them.
